Oh, also,
GVP balm-hate the smell
Joico revitaluxe- made my hair like straw, even though my hair likes protein and I followed it with moisture
Ouidad 12 minute DT-obscene price tag, and did nothing
Lush R&B-smells great, but ehh, it doesn't really do anything, I'll use it up just for the scent.

Okay this will be a long list because I'm including everything I bought and did not like for the last year and a half. Here goes:
Jessicurl DT: Too expensive for the effects it had on my hair
Qhemet Biologics Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee: Left my hair feeling coated. It detangled my hair but there are cheaper products which will detangle my hair just as well.
Cantu Shea Butter leave in: My hair would feel dry again an hour after applying it.
Creme of Nature Hair dress: I actually have mixed feelings on it. However, bottom line is if its used alone my hair is dry shortly thereafter.
Lacio Lacio leave in: Same issue. My hair does not like silicone laden leave ins. Its probably because I have low porosity hair.
Curls Creamy Curl Cleanser: Felt like I was washing my hair with hair butter.
Almond oil: Its not bad but I have other oils which work wonders on my hair leaving this one in the dust.
Giovanni Direct Leave In: Dried my hair out and for some reason was sudsy like soap when I was applying it.
Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque old version: So thick it had trouble melting in your hands or your hair. I noticed that the formula is different now in that emulsifying wax appears lower on the list so I'm actually interested in repurchasing once I use up the products I have now.
Shea Moisture Curling Souffle: My hair does not like gel in general so this isn't really the fault of Shea Moisture.
Ah well back to the drawing board...

I'm pretty careful with what I buy, but failures happen.
Cantu Curling Cream. Though marketed to curly AND kinky hair.... Apparently my hair must be neither because this did nothing but make my hair greasy and dry. I use it to braid DH's hair. It's good for that, but not wash n gos.
Smooth n shine styling gel. My first buy. It was too thin and did nothing.
Far as out right fails that's all I can think of.

I usually get my money back. Hehe. Since becoming familiar with ingredients, dews, and how my hair responds I haven't really ordered a dud from an online retailer in a long time.
ETA- I almost forgot. I wanted my money back from Beija Flor Naturals. Over-hyped.

Generic Value Product Conditioner (compare to Paul Mitchel "The Conditioner"). Dried my hair on contact--felt brittle and terrible. Applied to my wet hair, trying to use as a leave in after washing. I had no clue what was going on.
Lo'real Eversleek Sulfate Free shampoo--I might try it once more, but the one time I used it on my hair, my hair felt hard as soon as I put it on my wet hair in the shower.

And the GVP conditioning balm is NOT comparable to Biolage. I tried my sisters today....the consistency, look and behavior are not the same. Biolage is sooo much better.

Biolage cream conditioning balm (felt weird and made hair icky. Certainly did not condition. And zero slip.)
Biolage Gellee gel. Did zippy nada - I didn't even feel like I had put anything at all in to style my hair.
L'Oreal Evercreme. oooooo the smell! ;p [gag] (gave it to straight haired niece who loved it).
L'Oreal Eversleek. Like washing your hair with reeking perfume and sunflower oil ;p limp, icky, stinky hair.
Desert Essences Coconut anything. Smells rancid and destroyed my hair. (detested the skin lotion, too).
Nexxus Humectress Therappe - pineapple overload, and made my hair into gummy straw. My straight-haired neighbor loves it, though.
Ion anything - reeks and destroys hair.
Obviously I have an issue with perfumes ;p

As I Am CoConut CoWash, didn't feel much slip w/ this product plus it has entirely NO business being in a tub due to its thin liquidy consistency...cheaper products like Vo5, HE cond's and Tressemme work much BETTER! IMO and
Beautiful Textures Rapid Recovery deep cond. No slip, difficult to detangle. Hair felt hard and dry...had to run to the ole faithfuls for back up.

Wtf, GVP?! Are any of those products good? I wonder if the real Paul Mitchell would have worked, but the GVP put me so far off, I never want to try it.

The two main products I wish I could take to the store and throw back at them (just kidding...slightly...lol...) are Organix "Renewing" Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner and Tresemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner...Touchable Softness? Lies, fairytales, and fallacies indeed... In both cases I'm pretty sure I could have just smeared it on my shower tile and had the same result...the Organix conditioner does smell really really good, so I was disappointed in how poorly it performed...but I found Herbal Essences "Honey, I'm Strong" Conditioner that has pretty much the exact same scent and is now one of my absolute favorite products...I need a 55 gallon drum of the stuff!!

PREACHHHH! I thought I was the only one....although I ran back to Sallys for a refund....my Sally's lady is a blessing, she let's me know their policy, you hate it, bring it back, even if its empty..... so if I go to Sally's and hate it, unless it was super cheap, I will return it.
The only thing right now I want my DAMN MONEY BACK FOR IS CURLBOX. $40 gone down the drain on crap I won't even use.

Is this the gold labeled in white jar Tres? B/C I thought that was almost as good as my beloved Herbal Essence(which you can't go wrong with).

Before I knew anything about hair, I purchased blue magic and dr. Miracles a few years ago...awful products and ingredients, ugh.
Curls gel does nothing for my hair...
And I really don't like most garnier for my hair, unfortunately... Dries it out!
