Best "On The Ground" Deep Conditioner.
Hey ladies I'm in search of the best/fave deep conditioner. Mainly i've been ordering ALL my deep treatments on-line but honestly im getting tired of that. I wanna be able to put my hands on whatever I want Asap. As for on the ground, I've used Aubrey Organics honeysuckle rose and white camellia mixed w/ EVOO. But I want to try something different. I know u guys know about some stuff I've never tried...Thanx in advance! ;D

I've had good experiences with Giovanni's Deep Conditioner. I got it at Wal-Mart.

I like the Lustrasilk Shea/Mango Conditioner (not sure if this is the name verbatim) & the Proclaim Argan Oil Deep Treatment Masque that Iam able to get at Sallys. Both work well & remain in my rotation. However, I will caution that the Proclaim does have cones (I think) but I havent had any issues.

I love Giovanni's Smooth as Silk conditioner. I purchased this at my local Whole Foods, but check Walmart and Target as well. I used to buy it at Rite- Aid, but they no longer carry it.
I add peppermint oil for the tingling sensation, and sit under a hooded dryer with a plastic cap for about 30 minutes. My hair loves it.

Is this worth the buy? What does it do for you and your hair?

I'll be purchasing! Do you apply it to your scalp? And does it have protein? how often do you use it? Sorry for the questions lol.

i tried this for the first time last night and ive been raving all over the place about it. lol.
for me it:
detangled like a dream
hydrated my hair
left my hair feeling soft
cleansed & detoxed my hair
i seriously felt like i had done a wash, dc and detangling session all in one step...which really rocks it for me. im really hoping results are consistent because i'm in love.

I have very thick hair so buying super expensive deep conditioners won't work for me. I have to stretch them out. So my fav DC is SM Shea Butter Masque. I take 2-3 heaping tbs. and add some Tresemme Naturals condish along with honey, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, & coconut oil. My curls have thrived from doing this.

I use before shampooing, section off hair, apply to scalp and hair, let it sit for 30 min, shampoo and condition as usual. I can feel the difference. I can actually finger detangle my hair while applying.
Ingredients
Deionized Water , Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut) , Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) , Mangfera Indica Seed Butter (Mango) , Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado) , African Black Soap Extract , Sea Salt , Cetyl Esters , Kaolin Clay , Grapeseed Oil , Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba) , Behentrimonium Chloride (Conditioner) , Salicylic Acid , Salix Alba (Willow Bark) Extract , Melia Azadirachta Seed Oil (Neem) , Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Oil , Sorbitol Esters , Aloe Vera Leaf Juice , Tocopherol (Vitamin E) , Rosemary Extract , Salvia Officinalis Extract (Sage) , Plantain Extract

I like Terax Crema and BIolage Conditioning Balm. You can get it at Ulta, salons, and Trade Secret (if Trade Secret still exists, haven't been there in forever).

If I had to only use one deep conditioner on ground , it would be this one. It does have coconut oil in it but it doesnt bother me at all. I love it. I use it as a prepoo before washing though. Its all that and then some, just yummy.
I slept on it for a lonnnnnnnnnnnng time because it said purification.

Sounds like most of you guys use it before shampooing. Does the clay loosen the curl pattern? I've heard that it was possible..and i do not want that.
