I heard back from Soultanicals apologizing for what happened and offering me a discount code for free shipping and a gift for my next purchase! They refunded me my money also so I'm good. It's an integrity issue now. You had a REAL complaint and only posted there because she refused to respond to you. The only reason she removed it is so other customers wouldn't know that she had sold you an unsanitary product and didn't even apologize). This is a classic "sweep it under the rug" method. She took it there when she didn't respond. Like WHO does that???? Look, I make hair goodies myself, and I admit I have had instances where I have gotten a hair strand in the container. BUT NEVER EVER would I IGNORE someone if they brought that to my attention. I would be embarassed and would do everything I could to fix that IMMEDIATELY. People report nasty products to the FDA all of the time as well as put people on BBB for that kind of ish. It's a big deal. One that certainly warrants a response the SAME day.

A discount and free product for your "next purchase"? Games. What if after this nasty incident you didn't want to buy from her anymore? Those "offers" only apply if you buy from her again. Spending at least $12 on an item will cover the cost of her refunding the nasty one. No. If it were ME I would have sent a replacement on MY dime free of charge as well as offered a refund. The customer should not wait or "pay" again to receive proper service when an issue like THIS happens. smh

I wouldn't even want to waste my mailman's time delivering that garbage to me.

I just literally (5 min ago) took the tape off & opened one of my products that I ordered "to take a sniff"...and what the heck do you know? A string of hair COMES OUT AT THE TOP! Someone or ppl, while bottling is NOT WEARING HAIR NETS OVER THERE!!! What are the chances , 2 ppl on this thread has experienced this? It's gotta be a ritual over there to have their hair all over ish. Unsanitary, I could barf...

I hope she offers to replace the item + a refund even though you may not even want anything else from them. I know I don't even want to use the rest of my stuff I ordered (for real) :/

Well, I did email her and she promptly got back to me. Honestly, she seems very genuine in her concern of what's happening with the unsanitary product issues since hiring assistant helpers. ive had some ratchet stuff happen to me from vendors that have been out longer than Soultanicals

Im not discounting anyones problems that they have had recently receiving hair in their products. I wouldnt be happy and i would want a refund and an offer of a new product and the company to bend over backwards

i think mold is right up there with hair in products but thats just me. Im not giving up on soultanicals because this line is pretty darn awesome

i hope she gets her issues ironed out so she can continue to grow,

fyi , i am not paid for reviews, posts or anything like this, nor do i work for the company

Well time will tell and reviews will tell also whether she indeed is committed to quality products and improving these issues but I won't be spending extra money to test that theory out anytime soon until I see reviews! Because ain't no knot sauce gonna clear up a knot on your head god forbid if you get an infection from putting an unclean product in your head.
