Agreed. If other hair product lines had pulled this everyone would be up in arms and it would be called a "gate". Also, what are the chances that TWO people from the same board had this issue? That means that there are other people who may have experienced this too. The woman removed the comment. That's very telling. Hell Afroveda doesn't even remove her bad comments. What excuse is there for her to have removed the FB complaint? None. She's "sincerely sorry" this time because she's watching this topic and trying to do damage control. Two people on NC had hair in their order.....of course shes going to "genuinely be sorry". The fact that she removed the comment and accused you of not telling the truth is evident she's not too "sorry". Her excuse is not even a valid one. If you have assistants handleing products with loose hair....YOU as the business owner clearly are not making sure your facility/kitchen/envionment in which you prepare/package products is clean. Period. What boss (granted she's even telling the truth about her "assistants") throws their employees under the bus to a customer? Fail number 3. You as the customer should not have even known anything about that. She should have just immediately apologized and fixed it. Her responding on here to claim you weren't telling the truth is also a fail. People lie..pics dont. You did her a service by not reporting her to the FDA or the BBB. She needs to take a bite of humble pie. Forreal. A person who doesn't see the value in putting a baseball cap on to prevent their hair from getting in some oil...is probably the same person that doesn't value sanitizing their area. You have to see through the smoke with some of these businesses...and the whole "da assistants did it!!!11" story is getting old. Cream & Coco and Soultanicals must have the same assistants...smh. I think you should report her. I'm just being real. Not because of the hair THAT is not even (imo) the heavy issue here...it's the way she tried to cover it up... because she CLEARLY had no intention of acknowledging or rectifying this issue prior to you calling her out. There is a difference between being sorry for stealing the cookie and being sorry you got caught.That's right GB! This hair journey is too long to be someone's guinea pig for unsafe products.I don't blame you. I don't care how good a product supposed to be, hair in products is negligent and its not worth the risk. It's plenty of other "good" products out here.Well time will tell and reviews will tell also whether she indeed is committed to quality products and improving these issues but I won't be spending extra money to test that theory out anytime soon until I see reviews! Because ain't no knot sauce gonna clear up a knot on your head god forbid if you get an infection from putting an unclean product in your head.
I hate to see the type of customer service someone who is NOT a part of a hair care board would have received if this had happened to them.
