Very cute I'm thinner and looser up front too...gotta love the complexity of our hair!

Nice texture. My hair shrinks with BB too (also Curl Junkie creams) but that's not a bad thing. When dry, I use Blended Beauty Soft curls & swirls to smooth and stretch it back out a bit.

Thank you, ladies!

Actually, I don't mind the shrinkage so much. BB products are so moisturizing and really help me detangle my hair. My individual strands are fine, but my hair is fairly thick, so it tangles quite easily.

I did an A. Grant Rhassoul clay deep conditioning treatment yesterday and I added some new (and better) photos!

your hair looks good, i like the fact you are able to do a wash n go style, with my hair type i felt like it wasnt possible, but now i know with the right products and technique it is. thanks again, i will be taking notes from you, i also have some 4b texture!

Hi Mya_wannabe,

Thank you for the compliments!

I am all about the wash-n-go style. I spent 5 years braiding my own hair every couple of months. Now I don't even want to do a twist-out!

I just looked at your texture photo album. You have lovely thick hair and nice well-defined spirals. Have you cut off your relaxed ends yet?

My hair was always thin and fragile when it was relaxed, that's why I started braiding it in the first place. I don't see myself going back to that anytime soon, if ever.

i cut an 1 inch or so off, but i probably will cut the rest off sometime this year! hopefully by September, i can wait to expermimnet with my hair. i called it that because i never really do much to my hair, but i will soon, right now i am in braids, and that's how i plan on growing my hair to midback length, do you want to grow your hair any longer!

Hi, Mya

I just saw your post - I didn't get an email saying that there had been a reply to my post.

I'm going to grow my hair as long as it will go!

I really have no idea how long it can be. When I was a child (before my mom started perming my hair) I had long and thick ponytails. I'm excited to see what develops.
