So I am not someone who starts things to stir up issues but I wanted to put this out there. I placed an order with this company on Dec 10, 2012. I did a search on google prior to ordering and placed an order on the strength of one of my favorite bloggers. There was a 50% off sale at the time so I went with it.


Then December 17, 2012 a mass email was sent explaining the delay in ordering. I immediately went to LHCF and saw a thread there and LORD, it seems this owner has some issues going on.

I have not been able to find the FACEBOOK page for the website anymore, I should say I cant pull it up in a search engine successfully. Today I replied to the mass email and my email bounced back. I immediately filed a Paypal dispute.


Please review the other thread as it seems other customers have faced the same issue.

Have mercy! When will these folks learn that you can NOT mess with the women on the hair boards! You just can't.. The bad press you get is...legendary, and it's hard to recover. Yet, folks still choose to go down that road.They get in over their heads, and they can't keep up...and that's if nothing shady is in the mix.

I ordered one product from her Etsy shop....a long time ago. Honestly, I was looking to try a few more of her products, after all the "holiday dust" settled - I don't order during holiday promotions because the savings is usually nor worth the extra wait time. I'm an impatient product junkie. But I'm so glad I decided to pass. It's one of those situations where I could never get to the point of actually paying for my cart. It never got beyond adding products to a cart.

Wow. The Carol's Daughter line was all kinds of wrong. And taping labels over labels? Obviously professional is lacking here.

I just read the whole thread on lhcf, dang! I'm so glad I been too sick to work. I had to cut the pj-ishness because papi wasnt haveing it. he's willing to buy a couple of staples from target/walgreens when I need them. but hell to the no on trying everthing I hear about. good thing, my gulliable self wouldve fell all over this, and her sob stories and never noticed the shade. yups im sticking with shea moisture. my hair loves it, the price is right, its easy to find and black owned.

WOW - what was she thinking? that people would spend their hard earned money on her products, take really bad customer service in account when asking her the whereabouts of their orders, and that no one would dispute her her on paypal?

right, such big sales tend to take a bit longer until being shipped, and i completely understand it. But come on 30+days and no apologies,no shipment tracking, no friendly mail?? WTH is wrong with her?

I believe her business is sentenced to death after this - that is, if it wasn't her intention after all! I mean what is the point of having a 50% off on everything sale going on for over a month and then shutting her FB down,not answering to mails ...but still selling everything for half the price on her homepage?!

Seriously girl, one simply shouldn't mess with PJs!!!

Hopefully the topic of warning people about the recent events of this business as well as experiences can stay on the topic of.....business and not get messy like Ensogate. File disputes, claims, alert the Attorney General etc. I think it's important that people don't stoop to the level of trying to assault this woman's character or start pulling up random unrelated ish for drama purposes (like the Enso thing). Sometimes on forums when things like this happen, I think people get more consumed and into the drama and bullish than truly resolving the problem.
