3b 4a i need help!!!!!
I recently decided to start wearing my natural hair completely but I can't manage it, I am only 17. The back of my head and outer parts is 3b but my crown is 4a. I can easily moisturize and use olive oil on 3b parts but it does nothing for my 4a part. So I tried braid outs and twist outs but the 3b parts of my hair looks thin, no body just hanging down while 4a looks fluffy, curly, with lots of body. I am so confused there is no winning with my hair and I am afraid I will never be able to wear it out. The different textures in my hair is too obvious. Yes I am mixed. I don't know what to do. I have been natural for 2 and a half years now. Please help me. It also affects the shape of my hair.
Do you have pictures? Maybe you can flat twist the 4a sections of your hair, possibly put the flat twist in a bantu knot and take it out when it's dry. And you can style the 3b section as you would normally. Maybe it will blend that way?
I'm thinking 3b hair in a wash n go and 4a hair in a flat twist out/bantu knot out. Or you could just flat twist/bantu knot all of your hair.
I do all of my styling on wet hair, maybe this will help?
