Default Im in love with my hair again!!!

I have been posting regularly here for about 3 yrs. I went natural, reached my hair goal of MBL and quit. I guess i was in a rut because although i liked my hair washing was a PITA due to my Co wash conditioner changing their formula, Same thing with a lot of my staple products. I stopped deep conditioning because it took too long, stopped carefully coming my hair just starting ripping through it and i got lazy all together. Sad, i know.

I tried to take a new approach to a few things like using cones again and that didnt last long, but no cones wasnt exactly working for me either. I had so many rules about what was allowed in my hair products and it took so much money i really did just slack off. I decided to go mod CG and use products that have amodimethicone in it, and i stopped being so strict about ingredients and my hair and i found a new hair idol (Haircrush on youtube)

Im out of my rut and loving it. After a few weeks of doing right by my hair its much more manageable, strong, and soft. Ive also found a new hunting ground in Sallys, which was pretty much off limits to me before. Its so much easier on my wallet. Im back in the game!

it gets like this sometimes

i've been natural for many years. sometimes you just have to take a break to rejuvenate. i rejuvenate through big chops though
