You never stop learning...
Uhhhhh..isn't Camille Rose the product line that less than a year ago was growing mold? There was never a preservative listed either. I think more seasoned lines should be the ones in Target like.....Qhemet, Darcys, Curl Junkie etc... ones that have enough experience where they know how to consistently preserve their items and produce a consistent product. They put in the hard work and time and were responsive to their customers and followed FDA guidelines to boot. I have always felt that Camille Rose was ...."rushed"....I guess is the proper word. Items were being shipped molded and the owner wasn't following labeling laws or good manufacturing processes due, to what could only be, inexperience........its kinda...mehhhh tha this line is given the slot to be in target despite all of that crap JUST last summer where as some of the more well known lines that did what they were supposed to do are not.
I've had Camille Rose products for over a year and never seen a lick of mold. There are tons of people in the same boat, never seen such. I have to say that was an exception, not the rule.

i didn't like bask products for my hair but would have loved to see her on the ground locally. she has awesome products (although they didn't work for my hair) and great customer care.

eta: this is HUGE news tho for hair care!
Truqueen01 and NoodleNaps like this.
LOIS (OS); cottony, TYPE 4 hair, fine/med strands; no cones bcz my hair hates them; last relaxer '98; now low porosity, ignores most natural hair rules; BC #8

faves: suave, v05 shampoo, conditioner (my own), raw shea butter, castor oil, peanut oil, aloe juice
Yay so excited for Camille Rose Naturals at Target. Now I don't have to order online. I've also used her products for over a year with no problems with mold. Good look for Target too for expanding their natural haircare selection.

Products in current rotation:

Terressentials Pure Earth Mud Wash; Elucence MBC (now really just for cowashing, leg shaving or emergencies); Curl Junkie: Repair Me, Deep Fix, Curl Rehab; AOHSR (retiring); Oyin Handmade: Honey Hemp, Hair Dew, J&B; Qhemet Biologics: BRBC (retiring- prefer Oyin HD), AOHC, OHHB; Jojoba Oil for scalp; Castor Oil or Shea butter to seal; Henna & Ayurvedic pastes when I can be bothered.

Still searching for the perfect stylers, but loving CJ CIAB over everything so far

I had actually contacted all three (Qhemets, Darcy's and Camille- before thread with the mould came on here) about stocking their products, but only Camille responded. Also with the stock control Qhemets seems to be exercising recently, I just wonder if they'd be able to produce on such a large scale at this point. I'm interested to see how Camille Rose pulls it off.

Since this has been announced I have been wondering about the Curls line. The Curls for Target line has a different formulation from the Curls products online. I wonder if they will be selling the Target formulation and putting Walmart on it...?
I hope they'll be at my local Target.

This was posted on sat 2/2/13 in the KBB comment section, but there hasn't been any updated info on the Facebook Page for stores listed yet....
Karen's Body Beautiful: We just shipped to Target last weekend so they're still putting products in shelves. Shortly, we'll have a list of stores that carry KBB to share with you and we'll post on Facebook. Thank you for your support and please keep us posted when you find KBB at Target near you!

So excited hopefully camille rose uses the same ingredients and puts most of her products on the shelves. I have been really wanting to try the moisture milk and curlaide moisture butter.
I am also excited. I wanna read the labels...
