do y'all go to black girl long hair? it's a good blog and i love the diversity of hair textures, articles, features and styles but since they changed the layout it's been SO hard to read. it comes up slow, sometimes the pics are huge and blurry, you can just read an article without clicking multiple times. i noticed i don't even go there as much which is a bummer because i really like their content. what gives? what do y'all think about the newish layout?

I feel the same way. I just don't bother going to the site any more. I gave it several tries.

Have you tried using a rss reader app? I use gReader and I don't bother going on the website anymore.

^^^ nah i haven't tried. i mostly like reading from my laptop or work computer as a break in the day. seems like a lot of work to read a website.

i wonder if they even know there's an issue...too bad because they really have good content.

@ the bolded - they must know because a lot of people comment at the end of stories about the difficulty reading and navigating.

!! I especially love it b/c they feature alot of 4b & c style icons

!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! (altho i am 4a i am fascinated but 4b/c hair texture)

they since changed their site it looks more organized in my opinion BUT all the new features have slowed it down. i find that when i use my phone to go on it slow but when i get in front of a computer its great

I think the site looks nice (better even) than before. It loaded fine for me, not slow. I'm using Chrome on a Mac.

I went all the time. Now I don't even try going.

Idk why they changed the layout, the other one was fine. This layout looks like there's not alot of content and it's boring.

They need to change it back.

and the search didn't work well. i have sisterlocks and was going to search for sisterlock related articles. the search didn't show anything...oh well..
