Have you tried kckt? it has helped me tremendously this winter!i use it as a RO and then also as a leave in.
I have tried cowashing midweek, water glycerin and aloe spritzes every couple of days, and richer sealants (like qhemet biologics amla and olive heavy cream) so far so good. Now I have to make another batch of hair butter...

You never stop learning...
What have you been using or doing differently? Have you clarified lately? I have hair that is prone to dryness and went through a particularly dry patch, but recently switched up my products and made changes to my regimen, and the issues seem to have disappeared (for now, anyway).

Things that have generally helped me are:

Cold water rinsing
Using Aloe Vera as my moisturising spritz
Getting a portable steamer and incorporating it into my regimen (I just did a Henna treatment with a steamer for the first time, and this was the first time ever that my hair didn't feel dry afterwards. Miracle for me)
I now avoid glycerine at all costs (in anything I plan to leave in my hair). Winter or summer it is a nightmare for my hair- different reasons depending on the season
I've gone back to alternating cowashing and shampooing (I went through a phase of using my bobeam shampoo bars every week, but I've cut back on that now)
Products in current rotation:

Terressentials Pure Earth Mud Wash; Elucence MBC (now really just for cowashing, leg shaving or emergencies); Curl Junkie: Repair Me, Deep Fix, Curl Rehab; AOHSR (retiring); Oyin Handmade: Honey Hemp, Hair Dew, J&B; Qhemet Biologics: BRBC (retiring- prefer Oyin HD), AOHC, OHHB; Jojoba Oil for scalp; Castor Oil or Shea butter to seal; Henna & Ayurvedic pastes when I can be bothered.

Still searching for the perfect stylers, but loving CJ CIAB over everything so far
Can you give morr details on steaming. I may try this to help me with my moisture issues. Thanks!!

Teri Laflesh's book "Curly Like Me" sits on my desk and everytime I get frustrated and an impulse tells me to shave my head, I look at it in hopes that one day my hair will graze the top of my butt.

I haven't really changed my products that much. I recently started using biolage scalp therapy bc i have SD. So other than that i have changed by hair products. I may have to use more moisturizing products. Hopefully that will help. But ladies please keep commenting! Thanks!

When im doing everything right and my hair wont retain moisture I do a cpl things..
-cowash more often. Usually I need a midweek cowash but if my hair is dry and spritzing & sealing wont help. I do better by cowashing "early" and starting fresh.
-Clarify. Same concept as cowashing to start fresh. Sometimes u need a clean slate.
-Apply less product. This is a personal thing I do, i know some ppl do better w more product. But my hair will actually come out stiff and lackluster if I overdo it.
-Do a protein treatment. Protein helps my hair retain moisture. It might not be breaking, but wont act right & thats when I do a pt.
just what works for me, also.. Adding aloe juice to my regimen (spritzed on top of my li, then sealed in) helps noticeably w moisture retention.. HTH

Are you using products with glycerine in the winter? Glycerine DRIES out your hair in the winter time. Glycerine should be used in optimal dew points ( about 40 - 60) If the dew point is too low it will dry out your hair and if it is too high it will frizz out your hair. I try to avoid glycerine because i am sensitive to it.
