Increase Hair Growth

What are you ladies doing to increase hair growth and retain your length?

My hair just doesn't seem to be growing, ok, let me rephrase that. I know it's growing I just want to see more growth/retention.

I can't even remember how long I have been natural. I think about 7 years. During that time I've been loc's and loose. I've done a couple of "big chops" but this time around it's been over a year since I last cut my hair. It's reached the lenght that it always seems to just stop growing(chin when stretched). My hair is in the best condition it's been in since i've been natural. I've finally found a Holy Grail product and a Holy Grail backup. I keep things really simple. I occassionally shampoo, or ACV and co-wash 3-4 times a week. My daily style is wash and go. I've made it a point to manipulate my hair as little as possible to help retain the lenght, so I don't even brush my hair anymore, I typically just finger comb it it the shower daily.

My condish. is a natural Biotin condish. and i'm taking hair, skin and nail vitamins. So what the heck am I doing wrong?

Have any suggestions?
ACV Rinse 2-3 times a week
Nature's Gate Biotin Conditioner
Curly Kinks: Satin Root, Coil Jam
Castor oil on scalp
If I knew I'd have hair to my knees! LoL!

But I sometimes I do scalp massage and I take a Centrum 2-3 times a week when I remember to. I wash my hair with shampoo and make sure to condition it. I keep my moisture up.

As of last week, I've been twisting my hair up at night, but it's more to stretch it a little than to protect it.

I just don't do much. LoL! But in almost 18 months it's gone from this:

To this:

It's not to my waist but it is growing.

Here are some suggestions you might want to try to see if they work. First I recommend that you measure your hair and then re-measure every two months. It would give you an exact knowledge of how much length you really are (or aren't) retaining.

You might also consider cutting down on your ACV and shampoos per month and replacing them with cowashes and see if that does anything for you. Does your conditioner have a lot of protein? If it does you might want to also use one without protein.

Make sure you deep condition or steam once a week and if you aren't using a satin bonnet/pillowcase, definitely start. Also watch and make sure your hair isn't rubbing up against fabrics.

Hopefully some of these tips help.
