Default Can I co wash everyday?

Hi everyone
My name is Stephanie I have been natural for 2 years and my hair texture is 4a majority. I have abused my hair neglected it let it dry out and I'm tired of it all basically.
2013 will be a new hair journey to healthy long hair

I started the curly girl method one week ago. I washed my hair with a shampoo to start off and every day since then I have been cowashing daily.
I use tresemme naturals and finger detangle gently
I leave a majority of the conditioner in and basically put my hair in a puff or pony tail. Sometime I will use my flax seed gel.

Right now I am trying to make a regime.
I want tresemme naturals as my everyday detangler/leave in
I want to use suave as an actual 3 times a week cleanser. As in the rince out that I use to really massage the dirt off my scalp.
I also want to use shea moisture purification mask as a deep once a month cleanser.
And as a weekly deep conditioner I want to use shea moisture. I'm not really sure which one yet. I will be playing around with them.
I use coconut oil every night if I am infact going to wash in the morning because it make my hair extra soft.
And on days I cannot cowash in the morning I will be applying shea moisture curl smoothie for added moisture.

What do u all CG's think of this regime?
Is cowashing everyday too harsh for 4a hair?
And well I just want feed back!

I have cowshed daily with no bad results. Give it a go and see how your hair responds.

I have 4a hair too. I thing cowashing every day is too much. I Cowash 2x on Wed and Sat using Trader Joe Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner and deep condition once or twice a week with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. Best curl styler for me is Hawaiian Silky Curl Activator. The trick to refresh hair on no Cowash days is to fill a spray bottle with water and spray hair until it is saturated. Do NOT touch hair. Let water saturate hair for a minute or so. As u do, ur curls will start swelling magically. Shake your hair up and down, left and right to loosen them up and voila.

As long as you're not getting excess dryness I say go for it.

Hi I just started my CG method last week too. I use devacurl and eco styler gel. I cowash 3x a week. Mon, Wed and friday. And I leave conditioner in and seal my hair with gel. So far I notice my hair is getting curlier but it feels really dry this week. This is my second week. I determined to go the full six week before giving up

It really depends on your head of hair. I used to co-wash every day when my hair was short (TWA status) with no problems. When my hair got longer, I stopped doing it so much because (1) it's time consuming and (2) my hair really started liking low manipulation and protective styles.
