Hit: wash and go combo - Camille Rose Naturals Curl Love Moisture Milk and Aloe Whipped Gel. I've been sleeping on this creamy gel but it is awesome. Goes on smooth and gives me a soft, bouncy and defined wng. It also works well with Tresemme Naturals Moisturizing Conditioner and Jane Carter Hydrating Smoothing Creamy Leave In Conditioner.

Hit:
Jojoba oil as a prepoo, very detangling

Remembering that it isn't all things that work for all people and opting for a modified wash and go w/o gel. I am doing my hair so I haven't seen the results yet, but the anxiety bug stopped biting me when I made that decision, lol.

Twisting with KBB Butter love

Tentative Miss

Ouidad Cowash, hair felt slightly stripped
Not fully detangling hair before WnG
Shescent Buriti Hair milk, too watery. Already used 2 ozs to refresh hair last night

Miss

Hit: Doing mini twist with Jane Carter nourish and shine. I found it on the ground in Perfumina
Hit
Using Matrix Biolage Smootherapie as a rinse out- my hair felt like a dream and tangles were a distant memory

AussieMoist 3 minute- my new HG detangler. Nothing is like it. Nothing.

New discovery:

Honey and my hair do not mix, not when used on it's own or in a product (unless it is the herbal essences honey I'm strong since there is probably barely any honey in there). It is too sticky for my hair. My beloved Curl Junkie Deep Fix will not be a repurchase because of this. The honey clumps my curls, but after they get clumped the hair in them gets interwoven so that it is time consuming to untangle later. I am going to miss it, it smelled and felt so good...

Curl Junkie leave ins are still my boo though; no honey in those. I guess this means I wont ever try Qhemet Biologics Olive Honey Hydrating Balm.

Well at least I found a replacement deep conditioner- Matrix Biolage is the truth!

Miss:
Carol's Daughter Monoi conditioner and shampoo

This is the 2nd CD conditioner that made my hair dry and tangled. I checked the PH of the conditioner and it was 5.5, which is fine. So it must be something in it that my hair does not like. Done with CD. So glad they were samples, no money wasted.
Major hit: JBCO to pre-poo. I love how it made my scalp feel. It's has felt wonderful all week. It felt like it detoxed my scalp and it made my hair so soft. I'll definitely keep using this

Hair: 3a, normal porosity and elasticity
My hair loves: Vatika and Bhringraj oils, adores henna.
My HGs: Bobeam's shampoo bars, CJAO, CJRM, Original Moxie's Hair Bling, Terressentials,

Let's hear it for beautiful curls!!!
Miss:
Shea Moisture Restorative conditioner. A fail as a rinse out. Felt good going on, but left my hair a hard tangled mess when rinsed out. The scent is too strong for a leave-in. In the garbage it goes.

Matrix Biolage Smootherapie as a leave in, amazing!

Taliah Waajid Mist Bodifier. It seems that Scurl No Drip leaves this in the dust. Not a repurchase.

Hit: That Aussie Moist/Lustrasilk Shea and Mango Cholesterol deep conditioner I rigged up yesterday...My hair laid down and submitted and the slip was great.

Kinda a Miss: As I Am leave in...I really like it if it's washed out the next day, but if I use it one day, then just wet my hair and add more the next, it develops a funky scent that gets worse the more times I do it. So, I know to not glob it on everyday with wreckless abandon if I didn't wash/cowash my hair.

Hit: Pure Olive Oil

I didn't have my coconut oil over Spring Break so I used pure olive oil for my pre-shampoo finger-detangling and layered SM Purification Masque for a over it for a deep condition. My hair loved it! It felt soft, nice and light once I took down my twist out. It's a surprise 'cause my hair hates extra virgin olive oil -- it's too greasy, thick and fragrant.

Neutral: twist my hair with xtreme wetline gel. My definition is off the chain, but my hair is a little dry. This gel has defeated me. I will just continue to use it for my edges, puffs, and wash and go's.
MAJOR HIT: Keratin and msm mixed in my moisture spritz with a hair nail and skin vitamin. I spray this on my ends and my scalp and have been doing it for a month and have seen SO much growth and less breakage and NO hair in my comb when I detangle

Red palm oil - left my hair hydrated and SUPER moisturized

MISS: The smell
