Hit: Koils by Nature Shealoe

I had to detangle my hair to style it since I had it in a puff and it was dry like day old bread. I put on my KBN AND LAWD did the hair melt, pop and coil. Moisturized. I always spritz water first then apply KBN. IT WAS GLORIOUS.

Pantene Cowash Cleansing Conditioner: made my hair so easy to detangle. I used it as a Detangler and finger Detangled. Hair was popping coils and I had to alert the authorities. Still on the fence to include it in my regimen or not.

Terressentials Organic Mud Hair Wash:
It was time to detox the hair. Led it on for an hour and hair was butter. Pop coils long pop coils and less shrinkage. Scalp clean and hair light light as a feather. Shine and definition. Oh I love this mud wash aka shampoo.

Coconut Oil: been rubbing on my face and body. Skin been soft everyday. Like silk believe it.

Miss: my failed attempt at Etcblogmag's low bantu knot out. I blame the humidity in So Fl. Soon as I left it frizzed right up and it was so fly in the mirror. 😩😞

So/So: Ology Conditioner. It smells awesome. It says pear and I think cucumber but it smells like strawberry cream ! It might work as a leave in. It gave me nice plump moisturized twists when I detangled my hair before washing it. Unfortunately it does not have that much slip in the shower. The slip is a little less than Tresemme Naturals. It is thicker than Tresemme.

Hit: Detangling my hair with fresh aloe vera that I bought and blended up. Super slippery, tangles just melted away. Only $2~

Miss:
All the pieces of pulp in my hair that took forever to pick out. Next time I'll strain the gel.

L'oreal Ever Sleek Conditioner

Rough at detangling in the shower. I used the entire bottle in one go....11 oz.....for $6~ It might be ok for a deep condition though. When it sits on the hair for a while it is easier to detangle...but not worth it for me.

Not sure if this should be a January hit or a March hit, but I just finished a tub of Super Wet Original gel and it is definitely a hit for me on damp hair. I've tried it with every leave in I have and it works very well with them all. glycerin and protein free too...it just made my HG list after I have gone 3 weeks straight with 4-5 day hair.

Hit: Camille Rose Moisture Milk off the shelf at Target. Nothing has ever made my hair this soft for so long. Just wonderfulness in a bottle.

hit: Camille Rose Blue Algae Deep conditioner...pure buttery awesomeness

Ht: detangling before I wash my hair. I had never tried this (even in my previous 6 years of being natural). The old product, mixed with water, or a cheapie detangler like the loreal kids detangler and some oil/cheap conditioner makes for a super cheap and easy detangling session....10 mins tops.

hit: loreal evercurl sulfate free conditioner. Enough to cleanse but not stripping to the hair.

Hit: Washing my hair every 2 weeks and cowashing in between. My hair is loving this.

Miss:
Purabody Naturals Sapote Lotion. D@!m. Product has a PH of 7.0 Owner told me all her conditioners have a PH of 5.0-5.5. Yeah right. Made my hair dry and hard like my cuticles are standing straight up. Thank goodness, it was a sample, on sale. I'll add AVJ to it and if that doesn't work. In the garbage it goes. If I don't know the specific PH of a product, I'm going to pass from now on.

Update: Nope adjusting the PH didn't work. In the garbage it went. Companies should be ashamed of themselves to sell hair conditioners with a PH of 7.0.

Hits:
Jessicurl Cleansing cream
Mop Top Anti Frizz Light Hold Gel
Paul Mitchell The Conditioner

The gel and the conditioner have been fantastic so far in my fight against the FL humidity and I still use SM soufflé and QB BRBC (both have glycerin).

Hit;
Ojon Rare Blend deep conditioner. Got samples from Sephora. Goes on nice and soft. Decent slip. Hair was left soft after rinsing out. Much better than MJRR for a cone conditioner.

Miss
Phytobaume Hydration conditioner. Terrible, dry hair. Thank goodness for samples.

Hits: Baba de Caracol Shampoo, Rinse and Treatment. Poo cleaned my hair and scalp without stripping it. Rinse made for a super easy detangling session.and softness. The treatment was moisturizing, softening and conditioning. My hair felt great, and I had very, very little shed hair in the comb.

Hit: Crece Pelo treatment- thick, conditioning, and very softening at a terrific price. May replace my Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque.

Hit: Komaza Aloe My Hair moisturizing Spray. I used it for refreshing, and spritzing my twists.

Hit: Komaza Aloe My Hair leave in. Very moisturizing and good for detangling.

On the Fence: GVP Paul Mitchell The Conditioner.

On The Fence: Using Giovanni Direct alone without adding oils and avj./avg.

Hit: maintaining moisture and protein balance of hair.

Sent from my HTC PH39100 using CurlTalk App

Major hit: QB olive and honey balm under extreme wetline clear gel as a wash and go. I had multiple day hair with this combo. Also, sealing in my moisture with JC nourish and shine.

Major hit: I know that a lot of us naturals have problems with the crunch factor when using Ecco styler. Well I found the solution for that problem: I did a wash and go with QB olive and honey balm under pink Ecco styler. My hair is soft, define, and the curls are elongated. I think QB olive and honey balm works under most gels. Fabulous results.

Hits: OLD FAITHFUL SM moisture retention conditioner. I strayed away from this holy grail for too long. I used it with curl formers as a leave in & rinse out. Perfection.

Misses: Decided to attempt a repurchase of SM CES. Its still sticky & irritates my skin. Truth be told I knew better than to buy anything with the word "enhancing" on it. Elongating is the trigger word for me.

Preview of April: going to try Naturally Silk Elements leave in. the ingredient list looks legit. The smell is a little strong but I'll live

These are my curlfessions

Super Dupa hit: Ojon Rare Blend Deep Conditioner.
This deep conditioner had my hair SOFT and so manageable. Prior to using this I took out my Senegalese twist which I had in for 7 weeks, did a hot oil treatment, and washed with Shea Moisture Retention Shampoo.
Once I put the Ojon conditioner on my hair, I really felt the difference. It made my hair very easy to detangle as well. I have been looking for a really good deep conditioner and I think I finally found it.

It's 20% off on the Ojon site. With shipping it amounts to free shipping. I got samples at Sephora and loved it.
