Starting over :( help

Hello everyone,

I have 4b/c hair and i had to do another big chop due to my hair breaking off in huge patches. Went to the dermatologist and they had no answers for me and couldn't prescribe me anything due to pregnancy. Has anyone been through this? Does anyone have any advice on starting over?
What is your routine? Sometimes products and tools don't work for us at certain times in our hair journeys.
Well for the last few months I've been wearing my hair loosely braided under wigs and getting steam treatments to help with moisture at the salon. Only thing I was using to moisturize my hair was protein cream. Since I got my hair cut I've been still wearing the wigs but I moisturize with as I am products protein cream and castor oil. I've been washing my hair with just naturals shampoo and conditioner for hair loss every 3-4 days and using an apple cider rinse also from just naturals every 15 days.
how are your iron levels? are you getting enough protein? taking vitamins?
LOIS (OS); cottony, TYPE 4 hair, fine/med strands; no cones bcz my hair hates them; last relaxer '98; now low porosity, ignores most natural hair rules; BC #8

faves: suave, v05 shampoo, conditioner (my own), raw shea butter, castor oil, peanut oil, aloe juice
Last time I was checked my OB told me I was border line anemic so my iron levels are pretty low. The only vitamins I've been taking are prenatal vitamins due to pregnancy.
my iron issues caused hair fall. ask your OB about supplements

Thanks hippychic I will ask when I go back next week. I've noticed I have a bald spot by my ear, is there anything I can use to help with that or could my iron levels have made that a permanent spot?
