Last night i had a brain fart and screwed up my measurement for fsg. It came out very watery. I didn't like the drippies so I added a little AVG which helped somewhat to thinken. But later I realized i like the wateryness. My hair is dense and it was way easier to get every strand coated but my drying time was so much quicker than heavy gel. I'm lopo.

I kind of remember as a newbie and experimenting having a liquid gel I liked but I don't remember the name. I know it wasn't Deva because I remember mixing that to make it tolerable. Any CG friendly liquid gel suggestions would be appreciated for me I don't want to make FSG.
Are you trying to avoid mixing period? If not, have you tried adding water to a maximum hold gel until it is the consistency that you like?

That's a great idea. I'm going to try that.
It is sort of a serum, but I like Curls Curl Gel less C

Also I've heard good things about Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic. It's kinda of liquidy. I have not tried it yet, but it's on my list.

Just in case you're not aware Uncle funkys is snotty, like kccc. I also like curls gels, but they give me so much shrinkage I don't use them as much as I did when I had a real twa.

kiss my face upper management gel is my fave gel for wash and goes. Its liquidy and easy to distribute. It has a good hold to it and elongates my hair.

I like Curl Junkie's Curls in a Bottle. It's become a staple for me.

While at whole foods I saw a gel that someone did a review for on YouTube...Beautiful Curls Wavy and Curly Shea butter gel. I was gonna try it but t is a liquid so you might like it. It comes in a tube and it was 12 bucks.

AVEDA Confixor Gel. I tríed it and liked it. The stylist used it to straighten my hair as well and it came out pretty well. But I don't think it's CG.
I've had good results with biosilk glazing gel--lots of shine. It's CG but it does have polyquats, idk if that matters to you.

I've also tried and like Joico JoiLotion, Paul Mitchell Glaze, and Hair sculpting lotion. CJ Curl Queen and CIAB also work the same but I could never get those to not flake or feel cripsy on me (or not be foamy white...smh).

I also have had hit/miss experience with Ouidad Climate control and Tress f/x (not fully CG, but I thought I'd mention anyway...)

Thanks everyone. I picked up two different Jason gels from WF. One has flax in it. I'll let you know how they do.

Oh, I also forgot about Paul Mitchell Round Trip. I think Elasta QP makes one, too. Feels Like Silk or something like that...

Update: The Jason flaxseed gel is not a liquid. I may try watering it down.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
