What is your hair care regimen and how did you come up with it :)

Hey Everyone. How are you all doing this lovely Sunday Mornin? My question is very straight forward. I have 4C hair texture maybe a mixture( ill check when i wash my hair). I just wanted to know about your hair care regimen and how you came up with it. Soon ill make mine Thankyou lovies <3
I literally stated my hair care regimen almost 2 months ago as I am in the beginning stages of transitioning. I moisture and seal nightly or every other night with water and oil. I wash my hair using my Kera Care Hydrating Detangling shampoo (sulfate free) along with cocoveda shampoo bar followed by Aubrey Organics GPB and then Cantu Shea Butter Leave in and coconut oil. I braided my hair in 12 plats and curled the ends with perm rods. Tomorrow I will unravel and wear a braid out.

I came up with the regimen based on blogs, vlogs and friends, family and co-workers who are natural and recommended some products.

prepoo+detangle/remove shed hair - shampoo (scalp) - dc - set hair (twists or braids) 1x weekly
detangle - cowash - condition - set hair 1x midweek (so im washing about every 4 days)
spritz w water - seal w oil - reset, as needed in between those wash days

mornings: I just fluff it out with a butter/smooth with gel + style
nights: if dont reset my hair I just pineapple.
As long as I stick to this my hair behaves!

Pay close attn to what your hair needs (moisture, cleansing, detangling etc) and how often it needs it. Also pay attn to how long you can do w/o doing those things (for example: my scalp gets really itchy after 7 or 8 days so I wash weekly). I dont manipulate my hair daily (as in moisturizing or combing etc) but some people do. Dont do anything because someone else does it, try it & if it doesnt work for you move on to the next. Thats how you make your routine! HTH
Weekly:
-Finger-Detangle/DC (in 12 twisted sections), Shampoo (in 12 twisted sections; scalp only; via applicator bottle), Moisturize, Seal (ends only), Set (10 braids w/ two-strand twisted ends), Air-Dry (24 hours; under hair tie), Style (braid-out, bun, updo or puff)

Nightly:
- Braid-Out: Re-moisturize (if, necessary) & re-set (10 braids w/ two-strand twisted ends), cover w/ satin scarf & satin bonnet
- Bun, Updo or Puff: cover w/ satin scarf & satin bonnet

Every 4 Months: Trim 1/4-1/2 inch

I figured out my routine by research and experimentation. I looked for women with similar hair (4b and beyond, super dense, etc.) that looked healthy and retained length. I experimented with the hair care and styling techniques they used -- I kept what worked for me and chucked what didn't. Once I figured out a simple, low-manipulation hair care routine, I stuck with it.

Mine changes somewhat with the weather/seasons. But I shampoo weekly because of scalp issues and my hair is prone to buildup. I cowash in between shampoos. How often depends on weather. I live in humid place. On days I don't cowash I sprit z because my hair needs water every day. I have to be really careful with protein and avoid certain kinds. I'm sensitive and it makes my hair brittle straw.

Most important thing is listen to your hair. It will tell you what it needs and likes. Also try different types of application methods before deciding if a product works for you or not
