Default Best products 4 slicking edges

Until recently I rarely slicked my edges down. Somehow the way I was doing it made it look unnatural. I have a better technique now and I'm wearing more updos now. These are the products that work well for me.

Curls Passion Fruit Curl Control Paste
Eden Bodyworks Temple Balm
Blue Ecostyler

But my very favorite is Silk Elements straight Edges. Love this. And it is CG friendly.

What works for my curly friends?

I use Eco Styler Krystal Styling Gel for slicking edges. I use it on dry, stretched hair when styling puffs, buns and updos. To use it I apply castor oil to the area to be slicked, apply a healthy amount of gel, style, and set the area to be slicked with a satin scarf for a bit.

I always use pomades like hairveda almond glaze, soultanicals smoothing butter, and tropical isle jbco hair food pomade. I also like using whipped shea butter.

I dampen my hair with conditioner water spritz. Apply a wee bit of oil. Then holding product. Boar brush. Then I put on a headband thats's not too loose or too tight and pull it partially back over my hair. Then tension smooths the hair. I have done the scarf thing but only if my hair is pulled really far back. But I dont do that much because my hair makes this weird lump hump at the top ofmy head that is an inch high. LOL. I think it is because I have a lot of hair. Or my head is shaped weird. Idk. So for my buns I like to do from twists which flatten my hair so I can get it in one ponytail or divide my hair into two sections parting from ear to ear then blend to make it look like one. I saw on Naptural 85 how to make two ponytails look like one

I use the curls control paste too. It doesn't dry out my edges and makes them super shiny. It's great. The closest thing to a gel I will ever get.

Yeah its great at slicking, I use it for my buns and puffs when I know im going to wash the next day.
KCCC works well to tame edges too, just a dab kind of freezes hair into place

I get buildup easy so sometimes I pull my hair back, spritz and run my bobeam bar across my edges.then I use my fingers and more water to smooth squeeze out excess shampoo. Then i apply li, oil and my product again. Works great for me
