I use acv as a cleanser...I mix it with my shampoo in a water bottle and apply to my scalp only my scalp then I use conditioner.my scalp loves this stuff....it is great for itching or just a irritated scalp....make sure you only use a little not to much

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but it may be seborrhea dermatitis. If you find that washing more frequently helps, then there is some kind of bacterial-like overgrowth causing scalp irritation. I would not co-wash or put anything on or near your scalp for a while. Just wash the scalp with a gentle, herbal shampoo. Moisturize hair - not scalp or roots - with conditioners and such. try not to put hair up when it is wet as that can lead to serious "flakage".

I rarely use shampoo but herbal essences hello hydration I think it's called and vo5 clarifying shampoo
