Celebrating my 6th anniversary as a natural
BC'ing was the best hair decision I ever made and although I have had frustrations and setbacks I have never regretted it and not once been tempted to relax. I never watched yt videos or read blogs ect beforehand. I wasn't thinking about natural before Alopecia. I remember how my self esteem was so low. I felt ugly and the condition seemed to be getting worse instead of better. I asked the why me? I prayed that if I had to go through this that God would create something positive from my adversity. I had hair loss for about four months when I told my doctor I was considering cutting my hair off because of the difficulty of dealing with two textures and matting. I remember he said "I don't suggest you do that". After I left his office I called my mom who has been to hair school and told her I was coming soon for a visit and I wanted her to cut all the relaxer out of my hair. I love being natural My curls coils are beautiful.
Hit - Jabon Cacahuanache

I washed my hair with this and my hair felt clean and very moisturized not stripped. I was worried it may not be enough for my scalp because I need it very clean. So I poured a tad of diluted TJTTT shampoo over a section of my hair that is most prone to flakes. This poo bar is made in Mexico.

ing: Cacahunache bark, rosemary, hawthorn, lavender, barbeiry and potato
Hit: Using Herbal Essences Totally Twisted and Eden Bodyworks Curl Defining Creme to define my finger coils
Using olive oil to seal my finger coils instead of coconut oil

Miss: Using Shea Moisture's Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque to deep condition and steam treat my hair. This used to work but it did nothing for my hair last weekend. Trying to hurry up and use it all because I think I'm officially done with the overhyped Shea Moisture products.

Mixing Eco Styler Gel w/E.B.'s Curl Defining Creme or Totally Twisted...disaster!!
Shampoo: Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine
Cowash: Curls Unleashed No Restrictions Conditioner
Deep Conditioner: Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque
Leave-In: Curls Unleashed No Boundaries
Oils: olive, argan, and Jamaican Black castor oils

KeraCare Natural Textures leave-in with Camille Rose Curl Milk on top as a styler. Soft, defined and shiny hair. Love I've had them both, but never paired together.

B.A.S.K. Palm Tapioca Deluxe Hair Cream- Leaves my hair weightless and soft, but also straightens out the texture. I prefer my hair clumped. I also got it to seal ends like shea butter, but it is more creamy than I wanted.
