Do you use rinse out conditioner solely as a detangler?

Or does it actually leave your hair soft?

I've tried many after shampoo conditioners and my hair feels like I never used it after I rinse it out, even though it feels super soft while it's on my hair.

I notice this, too, with most conditioners I use. The ones with Stearalkonium Chloride tend to leave my hair feeling softer after rinsing, though not as soft as it was with it on, so I look for leave-in products to give my hair softness that will last.
4a / 3c fine texture, low and normal porosity

I actually deep condition with mine. I'll apply Tresemme naturals or Trader Joe's tea tree tingle, detangle with it, then deep condition with it. This won't work with EVERY rinse out though.

I use OGX vitamin E conditioner as a in shower detangler, deep conditioner and as my leave in. It works well.

I use my Tresemee conditioner only as my detangler before I shampoo or co wash. I find that I get my tangles out easier this way and I end up spending less time in the shower.
Nope. Tresemme is my leave in and I used it to DC by adding a few ingredients. I really should buy stock as much as I use.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it.
