Dry Hair Solutions And Tips

Hi y'all! I've noticed that the problem of dry is very common especially for type 4c naturals so I wrote some tips that'll be helpful.

Thanks for posting! I think you pretty much hit the nail. I would add though, during washing it may help to put hair in twists / braids to minimize tangles on wash day.

Curlista93 Thank you and that is also a great tip you said. I usually do 4 twists on wash day to reduce the tangles.

Aquarielle I'm in love with oils! I think I even oil more than I use a leave in I'm yet to try a rice water challenge but I'll check it out, thanks!

my best dry hair tips also work for tendereheaded tips:


1) only detangling, cleansing and styling hair in sections (twists or braids)
2) spritz dry hair with water and use wide tooth comb to detangle!
3) adding a little oil to my leave-in (castor oil or coconut oil or avocado oil)
4) deep treatment with warm oil+honey mix (easy to do and depending upon what works for you can be used as pre-shampoo deep treatment or post shampoo deep treatment.
