Default Got 2nd Day Hair!!

I first got 2nd day hair on a trip to Dallas earlier this month, but attributed it to the curl-friendlier climate. I've since got it twice this week and want to share what did it for me. (I'm taking pictures with my new camera but still trying to figure out how to download-photos soon)

Day before--
Cowash with TJ Nourish, rinseout with Robert Craig, Milkshake as leave in, Aubrey organics Mandarin Magic jelly for gel. When dried, I mixed a few sprays of Devacurl Set it Free and a finger-tip of Blended Cutie Soft Curls & Swirls, smoothed in and pulled back hair in a pony for a minute to stretch out curls, then fluffed. I slept with hair bound loosely in 2 scuncis.

Today, I smoothed in a rice-sized bit of Anita Grant Sapote Oil and showered with hair in a plastic cap. After shower, smoothed in the Set it Free/Soft curls & Swirls mix, put back into scuncies for 3 minutes, unbound and fluffed. I touched up a few tiny pices with wet hands and Confident Coils. I can't stop looking the the mirror! I think the product making the difference is AO Mandarin Magic -- I just started using it this month.

Great!

I won't give up hope for myself. I'm still completely re-doing my hair everyday. It's either that or I have a frizzy afro.

I know how you feel....for me to wake up and be able style my hair dry in the a.m. on some days has been a goal since I started this process. I knew I could do it because I saw similar curl types doing it but their hair is longer than mine. I thought I would maybe have to wait for another inch.

I got it at a Vitamin Shoppe. If they don't have it they will order so give the one nearest you a call first. Whole Foods, same thing. I really love it. I 've had 2 days since my co-wash without wetting my hair one totally loose and one with a headband.

BTW, would you do me a favor and let me know if you can see my FOTKI photos? I was having issues earlier today and changed the access.

Thanks,
