Hi, when I click on the link it takes me to your fotki, but a message says that the folder is empty. The only thing that appears to have info. is your journal.

Is anyone else having this problem?

When I first clicked on the link I got the same message you did, then I logged in and there were my pictures. They are in a public folder. I still think it's an access thing. I don't know much about Fotki. I'm checking it out.....

ETA - I changed some of the Album access properties and was able to see the folder without logging in. Please check now...thanks for your patience.

Hi!

You're hair is so pretty! I love the color too! Its funny cause I've been surfing this site for some time now and I've seen your recommendations on the importance of doing DTs (something I haven't been doing ). Anyway, this weekend I finally broke down and bought a soft bonnet dryer and I NOW plan to do weekly DTs! I did my first treatment this past weekend and WHOA what a difference! My hair (especially my ends) has always felt dry and a little crispy, and I'm sure that my constant need to change hair color has added to the crispiness But, I can honestly say that since the DT my hair is alot softer without having to load up on product. Horray!!!

Well, I just wanted to say thanks sharing your hair pics and for always stressing the DTs!

@denisemounie -- You're welcome and thank you for your comments. If you are coloring, that will definitely dry out your hair. Glad you're starting the DT's. What do you use?

Let's see... I ordered the MHC Jamaica Island Conditioner and mixed a little of that with a little coconut oil and olive oil and sat under the dryer for 25-30 minutes, rinsed and viola... instant softness! :P I'm thinking about getting the Ojon RHT everyone's talking about. Jamaica Island is nice, but not so thick. Its perfect as a leave-in though! I desparately need a new color ... my roots have grow out so much. But, I'm tryin' to wait it out...

Using a deposit only color should not hurt your hair or dry it out. It's what I use (Robert Craig, but there are other brands). The reason my color is light is because I'm coloring on mostly gray and what is not gray I highlighted in the 90's. Only vestige of my natural color left is at my neck.

Deposit color... really? Where can I get the Robert Craig? What color are you using? Is Aveda a 'deposit' color?

I really like your hair! Your curls are very very similar to mine, yet I have a few mixed texture areas. My hair is a bit shorter than yours also, but I love it!

I buy it online but you can get it at a few places. Check the website.
There's also lots of online tips and you can email a color consultant.
Color I use is golden beige blonde #15, and as you can see it looks light brown on me. (Craig color charts are based on the color on white or stripped hair). Keep in mind that deposit-only color will not lift or lighten your natural color. Sorry I don't know anything about Aveda.

Thanks for the info! I want medium to light brown... I will email them. Your looks like it has a little red undertones too! :P
