well, I'm not a mom yet - give me a couple of weeks - but I have been eyeing the hair products and such I've gotten as gifts. I finally broke down today and opened up one of the detangling leave ins, rationalizing that I should test stuff before giving it to the kid.
I also should mention that I have not been blessed with the long healthy thick hair that so many women seem to get during pregnancy. My hair, on the other hand has been coarse, dry, and generally quite gnarly. It's usually in a bun because I can't do a thing with it.
I tried the Circle of Friends Abedi's Safari Detangler. Definitely a thumbs up. My mebco comb just glided through after spritzing on a normal amount (as opposed to dousing my hair with conditioner like usual). You do need to let it sit for a few seconds, but you don't have to wait very long. And it smells like pineapple - not overly sweet, but good sweet.
I'll probably be "testing" a few more products while on maternity leave.
Maybe I'll just give babe a crew cut and keep the products for myself.
