Thank you Ms. Nikki. The side part did turn out good, but it was completely by mistake. I do my hair in the shower so I thought it was centered and when I got out I was like "Hm, that's not centered at all, but I like it so it stays."

Yeah, thats hot...it doesn't look like a part at all. It's more like your hair just naturally fell that way. Sweet

It might have Nikki. I've always worn my hair parted to the side except for when it's curly I normally wear it down the center, but I might start wearing it like this (watch me not be able to replicate at all lol). One of my Ethiopians friends said to me before Arabic class "Wow, that's some big sexy hair. I love it." and then when our other Ethiopian friend came in she goes "Look at her hair! Isn't it pretty?" It made me feel good. I never get awesome comments like that with my hair curly.

And yeah, awesome compliments like that helps us to press on another day...or curl on another day! You can tell I'm sleepy...

It looks great, and like everyone always says, I'm sure its even bigger in person...pictures are deceptive. Rock on sis, it looks good

I don't think my henna will get here in time. . I may have to do a Henna Thursday next week.

Aww thank you spiral. That means alot coming from you. Hopefully my henna will be here by next Thursday and we can do henna Thursday together.

Man those things are the truth. I think you'll really like them. They keep your hair pulled tight, but without all the tugging of a ponytail holder. You can't snap them either. Which I really like. They have different widths and I usually get the skinnier ones not the fat ones. They work better when it's time to wrap it a second time around your head to make the poof.

Heather, your hair falls so nicely, yet it has so much volume. What a great combination! Looks nice!

Nikki, your latest pictures are stunning too. Your hair is just thriving from this new routine you have.
Curli Lol thank you. It's still not there yet, but it's gotten alot better. I'm trying to make sure I keep a good balance between moisture and protein and I drink water like a camel.

Fleurtzy Thank you. Volume has definitely never been a problem for me regardless of if it's straight or curly.

Also, I'm on second day hair with KCCC. It's bigger ofcourse, but it still looks good which I haven't been able to achieve before with KCCC. My curls are usually squished to hell. Henna contribution, maybe?

Man I'm excited about getting some fresh henna. I want black cherry tinted hair.

Well i finally bought some henna. The only type they had at the store that i went to was LIght Mountain. I hope its good. There are so many pages on here about henna, I get dizzy when trying to find tips. I think I'm supposed to mix acv and honey? Not sure how it'll work for me, but i'm excited!

Nikki and NaturalRemedy - any updates on your latest henna treatments this weekend? Any changes or improvements with you hair (even though I see how your (plural) hair can get any more beautiful )?

I'm hoping my shipment gets here today so I can fit a treatment in this weekend.

ETA: My henna just arrived ! But it's 3:30. If I mix it up now, it might not be ready until 3 am. Hmmm. I might mix it up this evening and apply it tomorrow morning.
