Diffusing
 

Does anyone diffuse their hair sometimes? And does it matter what your diffuser looks like so that your hair comes out ok? I have a diffuser that came with my blowdryer and it looks kinda big. I wonder if I should buy the helen of troy soft touch diffuser: http://www.spiralhaircase.com/diffusers.html

I tried diffusing several times, but unfortunantly, I never got the hang of it. I would check the piece you're talking about that came with your blowdryer because I know most blowdryers come with a concentrator attachment which does the opposite, it concentrates the airflow to a smaller section of hair. I just want to be sure you get the effect you're going for. Good luck!

I will diffuse the roots of my hair (stays soaked) in cold weather if I am in a hurry. I don't like to do this often as I notice my hair doesn't feel as soft as when I let it air dry. But sometimes ya gotta do it.
