Because I have twists right now, I currently have two bottles:
One contains my moisture mixture of 80% water with varying amounts of Infusium original leave-in, Better Braids spray; drops of tea trea and lavender EOs. I spray this twice a day.
My oil mixture is: water, ORS dry scalp oil, Organics tea trea and carrot oil. I spray this after I've washed and conditioned my twists.
I boil water for 45 mins - an hr and then I add drops of Lavender Essential oil and Rosemary Essential oil. Close lid and let it cool down then pour onto my spray bottle. My hair loves this.
frizzybarbie, the benefits of lavender eo are wayyyy more positive than adding scent and Im glad youre using it.
Lavender has regenerative, cleansing, and mood enhancing properties. Its great for your scalp.
I'm going to make my first spritz this weekend. I think I'll use some conditioner, water and some oils.
How did you like your spritz?
I want to make an all in one spritz. Anyone ever have any luck using IC sparkelites or Curling custard in a spritz form? It would be so much easier to distribute a gel if it were in liquid form.
Any one have success in using natural butters in their spritz?
Yes, I did make one! I used suave humectant and jojoba, primrose and lavender oils. I used it after I worked out and I was so impressed with it. One thing I would change is to cut back on the lavendar because I thik I used too much. I haven't tried using ic sparkle lites in a spritz form but I think I'll try it and mix it with water. This seems like a grat idea!
