Parting Hair

If you braid/twist/rollerset your hair, do you part it? I don't part my hair and I was wondering if I did, will my hair look different?

I do part my hair but not cause I'm trying to get it perfectly aligned or anything like that. I just don't want to end up missing pieces of hair so it's just easier for me to part it when twisting so I don't have hairs hanging out everywhere.

Whether I part or not depends. If it is just for a braid/twist out, then heck no. I can grab and twist easy because my hair is so thick, you don't see my scalp. I braid way tighter than I twist, so I have to pay more attention to parting.

What's the point? A part in my 1 inch only looks like a bald spot. Trust, I tried last night. I looked like a cartoon character. :roll:
