Is a Texturizer a Relaxer?

Why does MJ look like Wendy Williams there?

And this recent poster I guess is coming back to finish what she said about the topic in March...rather tardy to the party, if you ask me.

Well me personally, I LOVE THE TEXTURE SOFTENER FOR MY CHILD. I love it so much that I put the remainder of it in my hair last night. Now I love it even more because I can use it and actually get results instead of using a relaxer. My daughter will be seven in 5 months an trust me when I tell you....NEITHER OF US LIKE DOING HER HAIR. Her hair gets wet and completely shrinks up to her head. She cries and I become so frustrated that this was the best result for the both of us. So call me what you like but I would tell any other mom that has the same issues I have with their daughters hair as I had with mine, BY ALL MEANS, GET YOU A JUST FOR ME TEXTURE SOFTENER. IT WORKS WONDERS.
I believe the thread is not about name calling. It is a discussion of whether a texturizer or "softener" is the same as a relaxer. The answer is YES. Check the ingredients yourself if you don't believe the chemists who posted here. So you relaxed your and your child's hair only you that product is not left on long enough to become straight. If you like your hair better then I'm happy for you although IMO such chemicals should not be used on children under 12. I also have major shrinkage but have learned to reduce it. No chemicals needed. but that I accept and respect that everyone has different opinions. Good luck
From what i have read and heard it is a relaxer

The way i see it misery loves company. Some people are so pathetic. Its a form of cyber bullying and its sad.
