Default Afro Detangler... www.growafrohairlong.com

I was searching thru this site (www.growafrohairlong.com) and I came across a product called "afro detangler". I like the ingredients and all but i'm not sure if it will work...I'm skeptical.

the testimonials sounds great but i can't just fork $49 out like that. anyone ever heard about or tried this procuct?

I heard about this product but I haven't tried it because the shipping would be $30.30 and it costs $49.00 so I would be paying $79.30 and I'm not sure if there would be an additional customs fee These are the ingredients and it looks like something I could make.

Avocado/mango/shea butter, vitamin E, avocado oil, almond oil, wheat germ oil, lecithin, green tea, germaben II, mild fragrance.

Honestly, you can buy the ingredients yourself from a health food store and mix them together yourself.

Yeah but i think she's hiding something. One thing about ingredient is that either they don't list them all or you don't get the right measurements. From my experience with cooking, you can just mix ingredients together without proper measurements.

I can make them myself but I'm not sure what the recipe is. Either way I'm don't think I'm buying it just cause it's still so expensive for my student budget. My hair is not hard to detangle once I splatter some condition on it.

Well, I tried to order some back in Oct. and now its Dec, going on January, and I still have not received my products :x . I have sent tons of emails, I tried to be as polite as possible, but I have not gotten a response. I dont want to say its a scam but I believe I am out some money.

Default AFRO DETANGLER

I tried it and I like it. I used the 16 once when she offered it. I am not sure if i should buy the bigger size because i have found other products my hair respond to (giovanni leave-in, qhemet detangler). I enjoy finishing up a bottle and trying something new. That big size wouldn't allow me to do that.

IT makes my soft and easy to detangle, when i decide to style my hair dry. I never had a problem with shipping, it came when she said it would, and the product was what she said it would be.

I am little skeptical about the ingredients she list. From the texture I feel there are other things in it. Its not too greesy, thin and creamy, and a light scent.

If you are willing to put up the $49.00 for a big size. its up to you

I finally received my order and I like the product. It does what it says. It detangles my hair, I don't have much breakage which means I can retain my length and it also leave my hair soft. I would recommend it to anyone, hopfeully they wont have that much problems with shipping.

Glad you finally got the product. I'm still being cheap in deciding if I should buy it. My hair is currently in braids but will be coming out soon. I'm not a fan of collecting 10,0000 hair products. I try to keep them simple.
I don't see where she offered the smaller size...all I see is the $49 bottle.

Cool Well..

I took a leap of faith and purchased the large gallon size one before.. and I did not like it.

It gave my hair the "soft, velvety" feel when applied, but when it dried it felt a little sticky and tough to comb through.

You'll be much better off doing your own thing, like someone else said.

Oh cool there's a smaller size now?! Sounds like that may be better for trying it out...

Another thing I forgot to add to my post was that I tried that out a while back (like, 4 yrs ago!) so the recipe may have changed since then! Hope it works for you

I like it!!! It makes my hair very soft and moisturize. I use it to do my twists and as a leave in or detangeler sometimes. It can be used in many different ways (for my hair anyway), and the results are awesome.
