Default Have you ever...?

Gotten anything stuck in your hair? I was thinking of the "Fighter or Lover" thread and it reminded me of when I was walking around outside and a bee got stuck in my BAA. I heard it buzzing and I thought it was around my head so I just kept swatting away thinking nothing of it. When I walked into a building and still heard the buzzing I freaked out and screamed and waved my hands frantically through my hair until it fell out. I know I looked like a damn fool.

Poor bee. He's dead now.

Please let me know this happens to y'all too.

When I was in elementary school and didn't realize my hair was curly, I had just gotten out of the shower and decided to use a round brush and blow dryer. Well, the brush got stuck in my head and my dad had to take a pair of pliers and pluck out each individual tooth from the brush. It took at least an hour. Then I had this huge knot on the side of my head, had to reshower with tons of conditioner and go to the football game I had to cheer at. Ah, the days when i had super wavy hair, but was brushing it straigh.

I rinsed my hair the morning after a family reunion picnic and what did I find? A ladybug. And to think that I was one step away from not rinsing at all.

LOL!
Lnzy, I can't believe a bee got stuck in your hair! I've never had any insects fly into my hair, but i often find bobby pins in my hair way after i i thought i got them all out. sometimes days later.

When I was really little I would try to run my fingers through my hair, and I would come out with some twigs and dirt.

I constantly find pine needles in my hair. They fall out when I shampoo, but who knows how long they've been there — a day? Two days?

I guess I am lucky to say I never found bugs lol. I notice my hair attracts lint all the time! Everyday I always see some "fuzz" stuck to my hair. I have also noticed my hair getting stuck in things such as branches, zippers, purse handles, etc.

Beetles. Happens more often then I care for. Not sure why they seem attracted to my hair.

I found a staple once. Weird. Luckily, I've never found any bugs!

This is my biggest fear! Whenever I have my hair all out, I get so worried when walking under trees or around bushes or grassy areas

When I was in third grade, I was walking my cousin's dog with my big sister and that night when I was about to go to bed, I ruffled my hair and a junebug pinched me. I looked in the mirror, and when I saw it I ran around my cousin's house screaming. Their neighbors freaked out and almost called the police because they thought I was being murdered.

You all are giving me nightmares about wearing my hair out and curly. With the exception of butterflies, I detest all bugs. I think I my heart would stop if I ever spied any type of creepy, crawly and/or flying critter stuck in my hair!
