my henna update

so i mentioned in a few other posts that i was trying my third black henna treatment using the suryha kit in hopes that it would replace my black color gloss here are my conclusions:

- i like the conditioning and glossing effects but didnt notice any curl loosening although it detangles well

- i applied this over a black color gloss i had applied a week before my first henna so it was already the jet black i like... now a month later the color is rich but not the jet black anymore its somewhere in between my color which is off black so woops... i was afraid of this because on all the henna sights i see the black colors are never inky black but an intense off black or even black cherry... i know the indigo mixed with henna makes black but i dont think its the black i'm after

- i want to try mixing my own powders for a more conditioning effect because from my research the kits usually aren't pure henna or indigo blended to therapeutic proportins

- i emailed the everydayhenna company and shared my experiences asking if it is at all possible to get the color i'm after using henna indigo or other herbs and am waiting for a response

- if it isn't possible to achieve the jet black color i may keep using the color gloss but maybe use the henna mix first for conditioning and layer with color gloss so i ensure the jet black will not fade

- i may order the lotus powder or neutral henna because its suppose to have similar properties as the henna but without color
What colour gloss do you use?

I mean what's the name of it? Is it a brand name that I can pick up in a store?
