HAIR RULES products

This thread is funny, I don't know why I'm bumping it...I guess because I didn't see another NC thread on Hair Rules. I like the Curly Whip, and it doesn't have mineral oil (which I don't think is bad, but my hair doesn't like it). I don't know why he felt MO was necessary for the "kinky" formula, but not the "curly" formula...but I like it just the same. My hair has a bit of crunch b/c I was good and didn't touch my hair, but it's the kind that's easy to scrunch out.

Being that mineral oil is just that - an oil, out of ALL the oils in the world he's saying there isn't something else with the "slip" of MO? Even with all the kinky haired products that clearly do not contain MO? Come on son. I call bs. And yea it's expensive but no more than Kinky Curly, that's why I decided to just bite the bullet. Not sure if it's a HG b/c it reacts with some condishes and I don't like that, but it's good.

I bought the kinky mess from hair rules. Didn't moisturize worth a damn and the smell gave me a headache. Took it back to Ulta real quick.
they could not find another cost-effective product

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

ok this Curly Whip STANKS, good lord, it smells like chemicals meet floral.

It went on smooth like whipped frosting and sinked into my hair very easily ,however Im not impressed enough to repurchase. I bought the 8oz jar and it feels as if I used a little under 4ozs.

I will say my hair is drying soft though but that could be the combination of this and re:coil

Ah...to be a well pampered pootiecat. I can sleep on my owner's lap. Roll over on my back when I want my stomach rubbed. Purr with delight. Suddenly jump off and walk away for no reason. Not respond when I am called. Throw my leg up and lick with intense abandon. Sleep 85% of the time. Hang my head off the couch and view the world upside down.
It smells like lemon-lime to me...lol it's so funny how people smells things and they smell completely different.

Since I use still use sulfates, I gave the Kinky Curling Cream a try. I apply it to damp hair, and it absorbs well and doesn't leave my hair greasy. I only WnG on weekends, so I can't comment on ill effects from long term use. The elongation is very minimal, but hubby can tell when I've used this vs CJ CCCC or Aloe Fix. I guess it's the MO along with other ingredients. I don't think comparison pics would show any difference, though.

4a fine, thin, high porosity
Poo: SM Y&B, BT TT

DC: CJ CR, CJ RM

Curl Cream: RN BWCC, CJ CCCC

Moisturizer: CJ SL, SM CES
