I know I need to exercise, but REALLY don't feel like it tonight.

I'm still wondering if the lady who asked me if I used a tiny curling iron every morning to get my curls was serious.

lmao@all the AZ comments...soOo true.

natasha: yes, i apply lotion at the house and by the time i walk 10 minutes to my building i need to re-apply. i bought some olay quench, and it really keeps me moisturized ALL day without feeling greasy. thank goodness because i was about to resort to vaseline, and that doesn't make for a good feeling with dirt all in the air like it is here.

heathernicole: people do sweat but it's not profuse sweating. that's how people fall out here from dehydration because your sweat evaporates really quickly from the skin. i still sweat under my clothes, though.

jcurlady and tk*: i feel you about feeling like you were dying...it's monsoon season now, so it's really nice these days. but when it was 105-110, yeah i didn't leave the house unless i had to. there aren't clouds in the sky unless it's about to rain, so the sun just beats down on you.

it's raining now, and it's vaguely muggy. but it isn't anywhere near as gross as it would feel back east.

rt: i wish i had fixed my henna last night because i really could do an application now. instead, i'll have to spend sunday doing a henna treatment and DT *sigh*

How about 114 the day I got there and 115 the day I left. When I walked out of the airport it felt like walking into an oven. I love Arizona but I ain't going back until winter time.
if luvin KCKT and KCCC is wrong I don't wanna b right

So, instead of working from home today, I worked from the mall

RT1: I ran into my mechanic that hadn't seen me in a while (and hadn't seen my hair out ever), and he said, "Wow, you have African Mushroom Hair" WTF is that?! I just said, "it is what it is"... I could've busted out some bald jokes (he's going bald, but won't let it go) but I was very mature The look of disgust on his face was classic, lol. You can tell that he's one of those guys that loves loooong, straight hair...Period.

RT2: Three ladies at the sushi bar had a convo (while I was on my cell) about how thick my hair is...lol, we all know that isn't true The twist-n-curl gives it that look.

RT2 totally made me feel better after my experience in RT1

so my homegirl got a texturizer...
she said it still curls up when it gets wet, and it loosens the curl "a bit". I'm not understanding what the benefit is if thats all it does?
yeah I think I'll just stay natural. that seems like she spent money for nothing. it did keep its shape while blown out though.
rt: I should be at my company's summer outing in Wachusett and I'm still sitting here at my computer, drinking coffee.

rt: I'm taking the long way there through Cambridge to stop and get some Theraneem Aloe Gel at Cambridge Naturals. Product whore and lovin' it.

rt: Almost all my weight is in my belly.

rt: I did my stretch routine this morning

rt: My 3 day hair...mmwah! (kisses her fingers). Moist, soft, fluffy. Mop Top daily conditioner and Knot Today and aforesaid Theraneem.

rt: Have a lovely new pedicure, bright red. But if I don't get the hair off my legs it's all for nothing.

rt: It was my birthday this week. I'm frikkin' old! Thinking about a single senior support network group at my church. They have one for 20's-30's.

rt: One of my team guys, the temp, told me I was born in the Year of the Snake. Whatever that means. Then the placemat at the Chinese restaurant advised me to check out the dragon, ox and rooster, but avoid the other animals like the plague. Gotta find me a dragon.

haha, yes I did give him the look. It was a ridiculous comment...and I hope he knows that.

SBB, you are not old!!! What are you using on your skin???

Sbb: Happy birthday!!

rt1: I am sick today

rt2: My BIL, upon seeing my hair for the first time the other day, commented that I had "mtv hair". Now, that does not sound like a compliment to me because when I think of MTV hair, I think of wild rocker hair or something. My lame response was "Well I must be a natural born rock star because it just grows out of my head this way."

rt3: I need to get back into my running. I had a goal of running a half marathon in December after I ran my 10k in Feb and I fear that I will not make it

Kitathena: feel better

rt1: My babysitter's BF is frigging crazy and I am about to let him have it. He keeps picking on my fiance who has never seen him much less spoken to him.

rt2: I washed my hair today, after about 1.5 week of not washing...AAAAAHHHH and deep treat with JWDT. I vow never to go that long again.

rt3: I am on a organic whole body transition and I am doing a detox...hmmmm what can I say nasty stuff.

rt4. I had organic cajun salmon burger for lunch ...YUM

rt3: rest in peace bobby. you are loved and will be missed.
TLMMM, I know you must feel soooo good. When the person that matters the most to me compliments me, I smile from ear to ear

And I feel you about going out and partying...I just asked my SO where we're going tonight. My hair looks to good for me to stay in the house.

I wash my face with my shower body wash, use Shiseido SPF55 sunblock as moisturizer and a few spritzes of Cheryl's Herbs moisturizing Skin Tonic. I remove make up with Ponds towelettes. Night cream is Neutrogena Visibly firm nightcream which is pretty good stuff.

sbb you look good girl. and being older certainly beats the alternative.

I walked around all afternoon with a curler in my hair. like I went outside and ran errands and such. with a curler in my hair. my brain is clearly cramped.
sbb - happy belated bday. and girl... you are not old. i've seen your fotki. i couldn't believe it when you said your age. just know that you are FAB-U-LOUS!!!!
