I give up. I'm going to end up relaxing because I refuse to do locs ever again. This cute one day, busted the next thing? Yeah no. I'm over it. Meh.

I'm trying hard to "embrace the shrinkage", but it sucks... My husband keeps referring to my hair as a buzz cut; He's gay.

Hey i'm not gunna try and change your mind becuz it's ultimately your decision but i do hope you think more about it.
I definitely know how you feel, my hair is going through some things right now and i don't know why...i haven't changed anything but it's still looking and feeling awful. So i do know how frustrating it can be, so please give it some time.
It will get better.

How about doing a BC? I can't recall, but have you mentioned that you have heat damage or damaged ends?
A BC could be a fresh start before going the relaxer route unless you really want to relax...

@leelee--my hair looks fabulous one day, and the next I look like I got into a fight with a bad hairdresser and lost. It is getting on my last nerve to have to do my hair every single day. So I will continue to hate it until I figure out what to do.
@windflower--bc is not an option. I just had a lc and I felt better for a couple of weeks. Right now my hair just looks a hot ghetto mess. And 76 textures that refuse to match is not helping.
My hair is too short to wear straight after the haircut anyways, I blew it out this AM and its not even past the top of my tattoo anymore. I think I'm going to wear scarves and hats for the forseeable future.
Rt: that was fun but I'm exhausted.

I never do my hair everyday. No wonder you're pooped, TLMM. Just try a wash-n-go style for the next few days. Or do a puff/bun for a bit. It'll be OK. *sympathy hug*
Side note: I just got phone service! Yay! And I'm almost done unpacking all my crap into the new apartment! Huzzah! Huzzah!

I think the other members of my program were hiding from me that there's another Black woman in the program. SHE'S BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME AND I NEVER KNEW!!! That's fine, we've got a lot of catching up to do now.

Do you guys ever watch The Girls Next Door?? When TK* said "Huzzah!" It made me think of the episode where Hef and the girls went to the medieval festival and Kendra called the queen a "sausage wallet" LOL!!
OK so after that comment I might as well come out and admit it: I'm a reality TV junkie...
"Legally Blonde: The search for the next Elle Woods"
"The Girls Next Door"
"Keeping up with the Kardashians"
"Jon and Kate plus 8" - one of my favorites
"I survived a Japanese Game show"... you name it!
I've even watched a few episodes of Living Lohan...
It's not my fault, it's those darn marathons they run on the weekends when nothing else is on. It sucks you in.

wow......you are a big time tv watcher. my guess is that you have DVR? I watched Jon and Kate plus 8 a few times and I got tired and frustrated just watching them deal with 8 kids. wow...i thought i had my hands full with 2.
anyway, TLMMM....don't relax girl. think it through some more. i am going through a "i hate my hair" month. i'm so having a bad hair month. i don't know what's the issue. wash n gos are looking like crap. twist outs are looking crazy and i straightened and then got rained on in a mini-monsoon the very same day. i told my husband i was getting a relaxer...half joking...but half depressed. he said "don't do that....it would be so anti-climatic after growing your hair for 2 and a half years". he's right....so I'm just trying to deal with the hair until it comes back around. i think it's just on strike for the moment.

So You Think You Can Dance RTs
rt1: I think Kherrington is going home. Well, IDK... it's either her or Comfort. Will is the bomb!!! He's 4-real (and so is Josh).
rt2: When they drop from standing position to their knees in one move, that looks really painful. But they make it look so easy. how do they do that?...

LoL... I watched a few minutes of that yesterday while I was waiting for Run's House to come on... It looks interesting. Dude was holding his own with one kid, but I saw the previews for when they have a sleep over and it looked like pure chaos lol.
Speaking of chaos:
I don't have any kids so its interesting to see how all the kids have their different little personalities and how they deal with it all... I'm sure that if I had kids I wouldn't want to watch.
I don't have a DVR but I'm inside the house during the day on most weekends. I don't have any kids and after teaching Jazzercise and showering I am a full out couch potato. lol

So I was in Walgreens waiting on my prescription to be filled and it's taking everything in me to resist buying SOMETHING from the product isle. I don't need one darn thing, so, what's really going on here?

I just can not get Qhemet Biologics AOHC to work for me. I've tried, believe me, but it just leaves my hair kind of dull & frizzy. Maybe my hair doesn't like castor oil?
Oh well, thank goodness I just got a sample size and not a whole jar. Maybe I'll try it on twists one day....it does nothing for me on "out" hair.
