Where's the tea?!
I wasn't enamored the first time I tried it either, but since I've given up soda it was one of the few options available to me. So then the other night at 2am I found myself at the 24 hour drive thru ordering sweet tea. that can't be good.

rt: my second day hair looks like half and half. I'm not going to be angry, I'm just going to walk around like this and pretend I meant to do it.

rt2: dark polish it is. so what if its mid july.

rt1: last night i had a dream i was trying to press my hair...with a stove heated comb no less. the only reason i stopped was because i got a burn mark on the vanity. then i realized i could rollerset my hair without all that heat...rather bizarre...i guess i'm really excited about rollersetting this weekend.

rt2: i have a meeting with my advisor today to go over my dissertation proposal. yippee...

rt3: i'm about to get my hustle on...

Happy B-day, HN!

I braided up my hair into four parts in the shower without any conditioner or moisturizer and wore it like that yesterday because I was too lazy. Now taking them out this morning...it seriously looks the same as it would if I had braided them up with gel or conditioner. I don't think my hair can hold a curl when it is stretched.

Also, today we're getting a pembroke welsh corgi puppy!!! It'll be my boyfriend's and I's first "baby!" I'm so excited!!! Puppies are just so cute! We're getting a corgi from one of these:

Happy Birthday HeatherNicole!

I love Welsh Corgis too. They are so adorable. I already have a cat and 3 parakeets, but I'd loooove to have a doggie, too...I don't think the BF would go for it, though.

I was really hoping to leave work early today (been working long hours this week), but I don't know if that's gonna happen.

I feel your pain. I just calculated my hours for the week and Monday through Thursday I worked 45 hours. That doesn't even include the 8 hours I've been here today. I'm about to leave now though. I've worked late everyday this week. Can I have one day? Unfortunately, I'll have to log on this weekend and do a little work. I'm so much more productive when I don't have people sending me emails and IMs asking me to do this and do that.

Happy Birthday HN!!!

So, here's my random thought.....I did a wash n go today for the first time in a long time. I forgot how good it feels to go outside with a wet head. the breeze made my scalp feel all tingly!

rt: my hair is slowly improving. good conditioner helps.

rt: my scalp on the other hand...I think Nizoral may help, because Head and Shoulders isn't doing it anymore. The Neutrogena T-Gel Conditioner is just ok.

happy birthday, HN, my fellow Cancer!

RT: I like not washing my hair since Monday, just spritzing and Afro Detangling and bunning and twisting.
