OK so I have finally tried it, and I agree with you mostly. Not bad for $1. It did not give me enough slip, but a little oil and that was resolved. I used it in the shower to detangle and it performed well. Not too much scent, pretty easy to detangle. I added a thicker condish to condition while I finished showering and when I got out, my hair felt nice, and looked nice. Not world-rocking, but it was only $1. I would revisit this.

Honestly I have no plan. LOL Depending on how brave I feel, I might try again next wash day. Then wait two weeks and recolor. Oh, and I'm planning to give QB products another go. if they reopen sometime this season I wanna try the AOHC and OHHB again. I really want the balm to steam with seems like it could be good for that.

Njoi Creations gets me every time with those shampoo pics she uploads for her shampoo bars. It, too perfectly, allows me to visualize all the goodness I am missing...

I have no one to blame but myself. I knew my hair needed washing but I was lazy and put it off. I try to limit oils and butters but my hair still gets that dry and greasy feeling after a few days which I hate but my hair still actually look good so I let it go. When I started my prepoo I could already tell there were some knots that were going to require scissors. My hair tends to tangle more when it is dry. My scalp wasnt happy either A lot of people talk about overmanipulation but my bigger issue is undermanipulation. My hair needs water and lots of it and my hair needs to be kept clean because of how easily I get buildup.

Not hair related but....
When did J.Crew become so damn expensive??? I shopped there in high school and I don't ever remember shirts costing $150+ but this was 13 yrs ago and no one really knew about J.Crew then. I decided to revisit them and was shocked by the prices!

I'm going to Charlotte to visit a friend this weekend and I have no idea what to do with my hair. Is it sad when you're more concerned about your hair than what you'll wear on a trip?

I never shop there but I first heard about J Crew when I was in highschool, 6-7 years ago (damn.lol). They've been high since then...which is why I don't shop there. I stalk the website every now and then and they have some decent stuff go on sale, but it's usually never in my size. I was at the mall today and I was tempted to go in the store, but I always put myself back in check and walk the other way.lol
ETA: Wait, no. I'm a college senior now so I was in high school 4 years ago, but 4 years ago was my senior year in high school and I had heard about J Crew by my sophomore year in high school, which was 6 years ago...ok. That's right.

Yep, JCrew has gone up considerably over the years. I've always shopped there and I haven't been disappointed. I've got a JCrew button down shirts and a few blazers that are probably 8 yrs old and they still look good.

Probably when people figured out that Michelle Obama gets some of her clothes from there. That gave them an elite client that everyone knew about, then all they had to do was raise the prices because all of a sudden it's a place where high class people with high class money shop.
Sometimes all it takes is a well-known person to like something and then a ton of people will be willing to pay top dollar for it.

Their prices were high before Michelle Obama wore that *infamous* dress from there. Before I even knew who Michelle Obama was, they was high.
