Why do some people always ask a seller/company when they're going to have their next sale? Why the heck would any business person answer that?

Actress January Jones Says Her Hair Is Falling Out - ABC News
I thought this was really interesting in connecting dyes/chemicals and sudden extreme hair loss. Four years ago my hair abruptly started falling out in clumps. The derm said I had alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease, but my mom swore up and down it was because of the hair dresser overprocessing my hair. I had got a relaxer two weeks earlier. My hair was always slow to break down so the stylist would leave the relaxer on longer. But I sided with the doc because my scalp in my bald patches was smooth, not burned. Although I've plenty of burns over the years. I have had dye to break my hair off but I never knew excessive dying could make your hair fall out in clumps. As mentioned in the video fine hair which doesn't do as well with chemicals. I've got fine hair and on top of that it's low porosity.

There are a few youtubers/bloggers that I have been following since I started my journey whose hair has been in the exact. same. state. the entire time. I gotta unsubscribe. if you really knew what you were talking about/doing this whole time, your hair should def be flourishing 3 years later.
I know everyones goal isnt length and some cut to maintain a certain one, but healthy trimmed ends are very obvious and change the whole look of/ give your hair an overall healthier appearance. So that excuse is out the window. I just need these ppl to get it all together.
At this point, if any of you are watching "vets" videos or reading their blogs and they're over here styling some shoulder length hair with 3inches of mangy ends.. In 2013! Let that be a sign for you not to take any advice they're giving.

ever felt the need to say something but never went forth and said it? well thank you for saying it!! this is hilarious bc although i never faithfully follow there are a few popular ytubers and one in particular i like b/c she didnt let the fame get to her head. she always reply to my msgs (bless her heart) anyway i visited her page 2 weeks ago and was thinking this same thing! she was 3 yrs natural when i BCd 3 yrs ago!! Now my hair is longer than hers ! i like her so i wont put her name on here (good idea for a thread post). she does cute styles and all but 5-6 yrs natural and you have 100s of thousands of followers for hair care yet your hair aint growing...i dont get that. this is not genetics b/c i know its b/c she is not properly caring for her hair.

I installed some mini twists that took me forever and a day to do and now, after swelling, they look bigger than I intended. I counted one half of my head and I counted 167 twists.
I'm >.< close to locing.

Not everyone is meant to have long hair.
Take care of what you have and do YOU.
The only way I'm going to have BSL hair again is via locs or protective styling 365 days.
That's not me and I'm quite happy. Just let me grow this patch up hair I lopped off in the middle of my head in June to APL and I'm alright over here.
Shoot I might be rocking a TWA in April, who knows.

I don't know. Your hair grows pretty fast. You may wind up with BSL hair and not even notice.

To be honest if I flat ironed it I might be 3-4 inches away in the back but I dont blow dry or straighten ( too much work and Im lazy).
I've been there before prior to being natural but I dont have the patience to baby my hair. It really requires me to be gentle and protective style. " I own have all that time"

I know how you feel...
I am already getting tired now. I only use my fingers to detangle and it takes me forever to detangle. On top of that I have just realized that if I want to make sure it stays detangled I have to do it twice a week, which means taking it down, from the protective style (since bunning on unstretched hair has been causing extra tangles lately) to detangle, then putting it back in twists. It cant stay like this, I work and go to school. The braid shop is looking good right about now.
ETA: I can't go back there though, those styles are murder on my hair.

Why does the naturally curly comment box keep telling me detangling is not a word? Weird.

I think I'm going to do a protective style challenge until July. Braids or twists only for at least 3 weeks at a time. I need this hair to grow!
How can I say goodbye P.L.G.

Can I join you on this one? I need some lengths because it would be nice when having a BAD hair day, to at least be able to put it into a loose pony tail or a bun. I am sick of fro being the only go to style in a bad hair day situation...meh!

Yes ma'am u sure can! I feel the same way. I would LOVE to put my hair in a bun. But it's just not long enough. I can do a ponypuff but not a bun. And just have longer hair period.
Since I have these box braids in I can treat my scalp n not worry about detangling

Can't do it now for professional reasons but when I turn 50, or maybe earlier or later -- basically, at some point in the future -- I am dying my hair Kelis pink, for sure.
