Happy belated birthday.
I know about the love thing, but mine didn't love me back. It did end pretty badly though. Noone's saying you have to get back on the horse now, but don't be afraid to try again.
I am very familiar with depression and anxiety. If you feel like it's too much, go talk to someone. It helps.
A semester isn't that long, some people take years off, think how scared they must be to go back. You can do it.
Sometimes it feels that way, but it's your life and the only person who can stop it or make it move again is you. You can't let things make the decision for you- especially things that are insignificant in the big picture.

Keep your head up. You can post as much as you want on here. There are some really supportive people on this board. Just keep doing positive things. Sometimes you have to fake it 'til you make it. Surrounding myself with supportive people always makes me feel better.
At least you try to style your hair. If I'm off from work, I might put a little spray on it and have nerve enough to go out in public.

Back from the ATL........weather was beautiful even when it rained. Saw lots of natural 'do's and dreadlocks.
H & M ........will not go to the one at Atlantic Station. Too crowded. The one in Alpharetta is nicer! Spent too much money in H & M! They need to hurry up and build one in Dallas!

In regards to that thread...I think people are just furthering the absurdity of it by continuing to respond to it. This goes for BOTH sides. It's juvenile and ridiculous!
I must say that I'm enjoying reading it, though. Makes me laugh watching these women scream at each other like little middle schoolers.

I just got braids in my hair because I can't take the summer humidity in my hair. I am a little nervous about how my hair will be once I take them out....
I keep having these strange thoughts about something bad happening to someone close to me. There has been a lot of violence and killings in Chicago in recent months and I am afraid for my son and my boyfriend.
I can't wait until I finish this math course, I feel like such a dummy...I can't seem to retain any of the information that I'm learning and I'm stressing out because I keep the answers wrong

I don't post much either but I know what you're going through with the school situation. I am taking time off from a really prestigious college and have been avoiding high school friends because of my fear of what they will think of me...it sounds pretty stupid but I'm still sad about the whole situation. I can't find a job...actually its more like im not putting enough effort in finding a job and the crappy economy is not helping at all. I am insomniac and have anxiety issues...and today im going to buy scissors to cut my hair because I had really bad split ends for about year after having my hair hot comb and not trimming and now I am paying for it. Chunks of my hair is falling out...at this point, im considering pulling a Britney.... just felt like venting.

My mother is a lunatic. Period.
My sister, cousin, and I went over a friend of the family's house to go swimming. We told her how hungry we were after hours of being in the pool so she offered us Hot Pockets and some other food to take home. We didn't want to be rude and were hungry as hell, so we gratefully accepted. Once we're home and my mom sees us with the food, she flips outs! I mean completely flips her s*** (especially on me), like we went over someone's house begging for food because we have none at home. We've been having some financial issues but she's acting like we're poor and ashamed when we're really anything but that. My mother says some pretty harsh things when she's upset (especially to me since I'm 17 and unlike my younger sister I feel the absurd need to speak up in our defense). So anyway, my mother and I aren't speaking right now, which is weird since we have to work together (I'm a CNA and she's my LPN).
What a mess!

I'm goin home I'm goin home! I'm excited cause I'm going to get my mom to take me to the BSS owned by the Asians in Chattanooga to buy products. I'm going to stay in there for hours. It's going to be fantastic! lol. I love my mommy, she's my best friend. God knew what he was doing when he made her my caregiver.

I have to go to the doctor today and I hate having to be weighed when I go. I went ahead and got on the scale this morning to prepare myself, and to my surprise I've lost 4 pounds since last Monday! Now if only I can keep losing at this same rate.

RT: Think that we should do away with bottled water. Everyone just get a Brita filter, in the long run, it's cheaper, AND you can drink as much water as you want. How bad could that be?
