I wonder what I can do to combat my hubby's HIH syndrome. He won't stay out of my hair which makes the top very frizzy. I'm not big on protective styles I'm a twist out lady but I'm serioulsy thinking about braids if he doesn't stay out of my hair. On weekends I let him play to his hearts content but that's not enough. He says he loves the feel and smell.

Definitely a blessing AND a curse lol. I twisted my hair last using Mozeke Cocoa conditioning cream and DM curling creme to set the twists and he has been wanting me take them down...saying they are dry now lol.

My roots feel rough. Perhaps I should use a heavier leave in just on the roots?

Chicago Kinks, my boyfriend also has HIH syndrome. I'm always telling him, "You're going to mess up my hair!" but I don't think he understands how/why. LOL!

Someone tried to tell me my hair was fine the other day. I won't lie, I was a tad offended, not because there is anything wrong with fine hair but because they were acting like they knew my hair better than I do. If my hair is fine then coarse hair must be as thick as my laptop cord.

Sometimes I feel like my hair will never be BSL again. I know hair takes a long time to grow and you have to be patient, but this shrinkage is killing me. I just feel more "feminine" with long hair I suppose

Is it better to refresh a wng using a product with glycerin so the hair can continuously get moisture?

I believe so. At least for me it's done pretty well. My hair usually does alright with me just spraying it with water though so that doesn't say much

I spray mine with water then usually add a moisturizer, but I'm wondering if using a moisturizer w/o glycerin and w/ more oils will eventually contribute to hair drying out since it's sealing the hair some and you aren't rinsing? Just thinking out loud.

KKNT is no fan of my hair. At first it was cool, but the more my hair grows out the less it plays nice. Felt hard.
