I just made an oil infusion of peppermint, rosehips, and chamomile. My scalp feels AHmaaaaaaazing.

I won't lie, I kind of want to leave my hair in bantu knots for a week. Funny thing is, I used to do this style ALL the time when I was in high school, a la Gwen Stefani. I called them cinnabuns.

I always think of Bjork in the VAAB vid

YouTube - Bjork - Venus As A Boy

also Janet in Together Again even though hers were more sorta hybrid multi-pineapples

YouTube - (HD) Janet Jackson - Together Again 720p

soooo cute!

rt 1: i don't have one product with the word 'curl' in the name. i must have some kinda mental block against this.

rt 2: i'm reading _YOU: Being Beautiful:blahblahblahblahblahbabiiidysahetsoo

this

Amazon.com: YOU: Being Beautiful: The Owner's Manual to Inner and Outer Beauty (9781416572343): Michael F. Roizen, Mehmet C. Oz: Books

and they say in the hair section that it's fine to leave your conditioner in.

Why didn't I read something like this 10 plus years ago when i was sure it would lead to catastrophe?

I am so glad it's spring. Its amazing what weather does to hair. my dear Sheila is so happy right now.

I need more Hair Dew. *sigh* yes NEED. I have 1/4 bottle and I cry on the inside when I think about running out.

I'm so happy I washed, conditioned and twisted my hair on Monday. I can relax on Wednesday...my next off day, and spend insane amounts of time on NC.

For some reason, I actually like going though hair products. I don't like having products that are useless or harmful to my hair in my cabinet.

Still holding on to the 30-day no buy. The only exception is running out of something I use on a regular basis (conditioners, Hair Dew, etc) or a KILLER sale like 20%++ off.

Lol I know right. I don't even go go on CurlyNikki anymore because I'm always on here. Is twists your main style? Because your avatar looks like a twistout. I'm thinking of experimenting with that.

Yes...twists are my staple style. I love them! I recently cut my hair....AGAIN (not major, though), because I decided I didn't want all-one-length hair. I like my twists to have a "layered" or slightly "choppy" look. Also, because I haven't used heat in a while, I really started to see how my naps had loosened (not stringy and limp, but just...looser). Didn't like that.

Damn myself to hell. I'm staying 30+ hrs in the hospital to do an exotic case. Well... if the on-table study says we're all good I will be giving a baby the gift of swallowing her own saliva and eating by mouth for the 1st time ever in her life. There are so many things we take for granted, but not everyone is born with everything where it's supposed to be.

I'm so tired....
I have to round on my service in a few hours and my intern is a little clueless...
I'm a chief resident in a few mths and it's scaring the ish outta me
After May I'm the only black female in my program. Target, meet back.

I admire the h@ll outta you. Takes so much to be a caregiver -- me personally and a few family members have flourished because of medical staff that care and aren't simply going through the motions.

Have you seen the youtuber who's also doing her residency? She talks about wearing her afro to work.

Thanks sis. I appreciate that.

Hi Lanisha. No I haven't. Who is she and what's her specialty?
