Okay i know some of you are using Megatek or Ovation Cell Therapy!
What are your Results????
Come on i know Somebody out there is Using it!

i haven't heard anyone talk about those on this board, but it would be nice to see some results on curly heads.

i don't use them. biotin is about as fancy as i get

i have used it for about 3 weeks straight each day, applying to my scalp. i have not for the past 2 weeks, just because i felt my scalp needed a rest, it really aided with the growth of my edges, there are some pictures of it in my fotki.

keep in mine best results generally come about 3 mos in, with consisten use.

Your hair filled in that much from only 3 weeks!!! WOW!!! I am impressed. Did it make your hair dry. Some have complained it dried out their hair some.

Hi Akila!

Alot of pple do complain about the dryness, and i suspect that the protein content(keratin protein in the 2nd ingredient) has to do with it.

some ladies use it as a leave in, and some dc with it weekly, its really all about choice! i like massaging it into my scalp though. that area always needs extra tlc. I only apply it to my scalp, and i mixed it in an applicator bottle with 1oz of extra virgin coconut oil(to about 4oz of mt) to combat any shedding or dryness that might follow. it has gotten on my hair a few times, but i noticed my hair only felt soft. i don't think my hair is protein sensitive, or maybe it is the oil i'm not sure.

Where can you get a good deal on it. I have seen some people say they only paid $15 for it(wonder where they are getting it?)

I went ahead and ordered some of the mega Tek. I bought the 2oz salve instead of the 16 oz bottle for a couple of reasons.

1. It was cheaper
2. I'm guessing since it is a salve, it should have more castor oil in it then the liquid stuff=better for hair.

I bought MegaTek in July and have been putting it in my hair (not consistently) and I had my hair blow dried so I can see if there was a huge progress/growth. I won't blow dry again till September and I will let you guys know if it worked. I am APL right now and I took some "before" pictures that are in my Fotki.

I subscribe to the LHCF and some of the progress pictures have been insane. I ONLY apply it to my scalp so I won't have protein overload. I haven't purchased OCT because of the price and it seems to be almost identical to MT anyway. HTH.

Most people say that they only need the Cell Therapy, not any of the other products on the OCT website. But at the same time, that the shampoo and conditioner felt great in their hair. If you don't mind spending about $80 for the entire product line knock yourself out LOL If not, the cell therapy costs about $50. I spent $25 for my MT. The only difference is OCT is marketed to humans, MT is for horses LOL but does say it is safe for humans.

I use Mega Tek every other day & my hair is noticably thicker.. As far as growth not sure but did get my hair in a tiny ponytail for the first time! Sooo it just may be.. Huh.. I guess it is growing..

I have been applying this daily to my scalp for about 4 or 5 days now. Today I was playing in my curls today and noticed that my hair was much thicker at the root in places it isn't normally.

I decided to switch it up a little and I mixed an applicator bottle with castor oil, wild growth and mt. I will start using that tonight.

I've been using it for about three weeks as well.
I use a mix of Ovation, MegaTek, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E oil and rosemary oil. (Recipe from Long Hair Forum).

I apply to my scalp only, every day. I've used Ovation alone as a DT once or twice.

I'm waiting until the 6 week or 2 month mark to measure the difference. I'll post pics and let you know.

so this can be applied to ur scalp daily? and then u just style as usual?? do u all apply when hair is wet or dry??

also, how do u use it as a dt (on ur hair or scalp only)??? i'm very curious about this product...tia

I've been using it since the beginning of July and its definitely made a difference in how fast my hair grows. When I first started the hair in the front was down to the tip of my nose and now its chin length.

I co-wash and then apply it to my scalp and then massage my head. I don't apply it to my hair because it would be protein overload. A few people have experienced shedding, but taking garlic pills have stopped the shedding. I leave the MT on overnight and in the morning I co-wash and repeat all over again at night. When I have dry hair I will apply it to my scalp and leave it there for a few days, then co-wash again. I don't usually have straight hair so I don't do that often.

You can use the Ovation one as a deep conditioner. You would have to follow the directions on the bottle. I can't tell you how to use it because I only use the Megatek. They're both the same product, one is just marketed to horses but can be used for humans (it says so on the bottle).

P.S. I bought it because my hair was lopsided from an accidental Big Chop scissor happy moment. I was putting it to the left side of my head to make the hair catch up to the right side LOL Sounds silly but it actually worked. I'm now applying it all over, but special attention to the front and middle.
