Afro Detangler?

I'm thinking about getting a product called Afro Detangler, but because the bottle is HUGE, I figured I should get some reviews on it before such a big buy...any experiences and/or results?

i'm on my second bottle. i really like it. it absorbs well. it works good when i twist and as a daily conditioner. don't use too much. i think the name has changed. also, it can take a week or so to get to you so don't get antsy. good luck, it's a smart purchase.

I'm also on my second bottle. I bought my first a year ago. I love it. I use it mostly on dry hair as a spot curler. Or if I want to smooth my hair for a bun, I smooth some in and lightly brush my hair back. I use it for baggying too. On wet hair I've used it as a leave-in under Qhemet Honeybush hair gel and AV gel and it is seriously moisturizing. I love the stuff and my hair loves it.

Thank you so much lovely ladies. I will let you know how it works for me...in two weeks or so, when it finally arrives
Do you mean this product? Is there ANY way I can get a sample size version of it before I invest so much $$$ on one gallon?

You won't want to LOL. Whenever I get a new half-gallon, I'll send out one sample as a swap if someone's looking for it. But that's it - the rest is mine!

Hi, I have a question about Afro Detangler. Ok, I have 3a/b type hair its blonde and was wondering if this would be good for non afro 3a/b hair. My hair is medium fine, and semi dry. I have tried KCCC and just ordered KCKT. I love KCCC its awesome and was interested in finding a product that would be a great leave-in or RO for my type of hair. My curl is similar to Nicole Kidman's hair but mine is shoulder length.

I read the rave reviews of Afro Detangler and was curious if its a heavy conditioner or what? I read the ingredients and its sounds awesome and natural. I appreciate your thoughts, and advice on this as I've been CG since June'09 and I welcome suggestions.

Hugs and thanks in advance!

I am still using it and really like it! The 1/2 gallon can last you a whole year! There is a smaller size available.

I'm not buying it but last time four ladies got together and split it. One lady bought it, three other ladies paid her a quarter of the price. She split it in those little containers you can buy and everybody was happy! Just a thought if you just want to try it.
