Thank you all for your well wishes, we did just fine. Just a few downed branches. My relatives from the coast will be going down soon to see how badly damaged their house, but we don't expect it to be bad.

I hope it's not bad. My family aren't sure when they're going home. We're trying to arrange it so that they're out of Hanna's way.

Yay!!! You're alright - so glad to hear it!!! My family is in Lafayette, we were so worried about them too, but fortunately the hurricane ran out of steam before it got too bad for them.

So glad everything worked out for you and yours!!

QuirkyYogini, you be careful too! I hope you don't get any of this and I hope Hanna won't be bad on Florida. These hurricanes are getting ridiculous.
Aww, now it's part two...Hurricane Ike is coming through right behind Gustav. I know the feeling...I relocated to Atlanta after Katrina. **trying to lighten the mood** Make sure you take pics of all your hair products for the insurance company...tell them YES THESE PRODUCTS COST THAT MUCH AND NEED TO BE REPLACED PRONTO!!!!
