i've been doin twists and twist-outs too.
I condition my hair once a week and shampoo when neccessary. I deep condition randomly, i think the baggy method works best especial on a work nite. and I rince in the morning. and put it in a loose pony for the day and when i get home i re-twist.

I take my vitamins pretty consistantly. sometime i'm so busy i forget but i never miss more than a day or two.

I would really like to have APL by Christmas...

I've ben doing this as well. Its just too darn hot to be bothered with my hair...lol. I'm also trying to pamper my ends. I'm at shoulder length unstreched (APL streched) and I'm starting to have some breakage.

You ladies that are striving to be apl, keep up the good work. It took me almost 3 years to get there since my hair grows up out and not down and an horrible color job that left it breaking off.

It must be something in the water because I've been doing the same thing since late July/early August.
I've also focused on weekly deep treatments (before this, I couldn't even tell you the last time I had a DT. At least 6 months ) and moisturizing daily. My goal is to retain length (I'm ready for long hair now) and just overall improvement in the health of my hair.

Aww! I wish I could join - my hair isn't long enough yet. Good luck to you all though. I used to love to wear twist outs when my hair was relaxed - I'll be glad when I can try to do them again.

I'm down for a twists/twist out challenge, I just don't know if I can commit to going until Christmas. I know, I know, I'm weak

Ok. I'm in until October 31st, and then I'll re-evaluate to see what I want to do. Who knows? I may be so pleased with my progress, I'll stick it out until Christmas

I've been toying with the idea of an ayurvedic challenge for myself. When I get back home the rest of my powders should be waiting for me.

Ok so I'm all in. I just started back with my twist last week. I will start doing them more consistently now since work and school really have me busy. I will try to retwist every two weeks. I usually remoisturize every two to three days.

I really need to get back to taking my vitamins like I'm suppose to. Wish me luck. I had some problems with alopecia about a month ago but things are looking up.

I am almost shoulder length when stretched. I am really trying to go for health and length.
