Thanks for the info. I've been meaning to try some of her other items. I've used the WSHP. Have you used anything else, SBB?

The sale was only for the summer citrus scent or unscented and only a few products. I placed my order yesterday afternoon. Got an email last night saying that they are so backed up from the anniversary sale, that it will take 7 days to process! Luckily, I have more than enough! It is worth waiting for if you don't.

I only used the WHSB. I did buy the conditioner to try it but ended up swapping, wasn't slippery/seaweedy enough for me.

Oh wow! Good to know! I did place my order today.

Anyone out there try the Quick Fix Spritz?

I ordered it. I've never had a spritz work for me--for the price, it was worth a try. The butter is nothing special. Mine has that old smell, that oil can get. The KBB butter is MUCH better.

Edit: I wish I would have been able to read this thread in time for the sale, but darn Gustav knocked out my power

It was ok... Its so cheap that its worth a try. For my hair, spritz = frizz. It's great for re-wetting for twists or to smooth down my hairline for a puff. Other than that I didn't use it much on "out" hair. I did keep the bottle though..

Has anyone tried making their own versions of her products? I almost ordered the wet set pudding but instead I made my own version and I loveeeeeeeeeeee it. I used 1/4 cup of glycerin, 1/4 cup of aloe vera gel, and about a tablespoon of coconut oil instead of olive oil and my hair loves it.

I'm too lazy to make my own products. However, your version of the WSHP sounds really easy.

It's super easy! You can double up if you want to make a larger batch. I got about 3 uses with those measurements. I'm going to try using the olive oil to see how that works since that's what she uses in hers. The real product is cheap on her website but you have to factor in shipping and I don't like shipping

I like this concoction but I make mine with avocado oil. It makes my hair so soft.

Hmm, maybe I will give it a try. I hate paying for shipping as well.

I personally looooove the WSHP. It has given me my best hair days ever when I used it under KCCC. Even on its own I love it, I don't get a ton of definition from it, but it is extremely moisturizing. I wasn't impressed with the DEEEP conditioner, it wasn't slippery enough, or thick enough for me. The spritz was meh.... but I've never had a spritz or spray work well for me unless I'm putting it on soaking wet hair.
The Butter was pretty good as far as butters go. I rarely use butter, but this one worked really well on my dry 2-strand twists (pics in my fotki).

I've tried this with the coconut oil, but mine came out to be a soupy consistency. Not pudding like at all. I think I used too much coconut oil. I put in equal parts of coconut oil and av gel, and then added a little glycerin. I'll have to try your formula, if that doesn't work I'll just have to suck it up and pay her outrageous prices [sarcasm].

ETA: The customer service has always been excellent.

Yes, I did try that too, in my first sample pack. My hair and spritzes don't get along.
