Latina.com curly vs. straight
This is an article that i think should be passed around to the latinas. Even african americans can get something from this article. I think that we all should embrace our god given texture regardless of what society accepts.

Great article!
The twins are very pretty and both have beautiful hair. Altho I have to say the one with the curly hair really stands out more.

Love the curly twin's hair
I love the volume of the curly twin's hair. Big hair is my favorite. Right now I am transitioning but I really hope I have really big hair. As a child, it was huge. Now, I hope to have thick, wild(but tameable) curls.
As far as the twin's go....I think the curly one has more personality. She is dressed really funky and still looks chic. Her sister who is just as beautiful as she is--seems more tame. But I definitely would go with the curly look---its hot.

They are both gorgeous women. They should wear their hair however they want.

Funny, I just saw this pic on facebook. I went to high school with Mariel & Maziel .They both wore their hair curly back then. They were a lil older than me and I remember always wanting big, fluffy hair like theirs (I was relaxed back then); it was so cool and really complimented their look. Fast forward 10 years later and here I am with my own fluffy, cool hair, LOL.
This reminds me of something that happen to me last night. I just had my hair pressed. I was at an afterwork Happy Hour. This guy comes up to me and says ''You were here last week, weren't you''? I said yes and explained how I was curly last week. He goes '' Wow, even more beautiful! I didn't think you could get more beautiful, but the straight hair, wow!'' WTF, I know it was a compliment, but I still didn't care for it.

This was a really good article! Both twins (and their hair) look beautiful but in opinion the Mariel stood out more!

Well...maybe I am a bit biased, (after all this is a curly appreciation site right?) but I like the curly hair better. I love the volume and personality the hair alone carries.
Now I stated my preference has been stated, but I feel compelled to also mention that there is nothing wrong with straight hair, I feel that no matter how one chooses to wear their hair I just HOPE that hair-care and not just hairstyle is a factor.

i thought curly twin was gorgeous. and straight haired twin...ehh. i wasnt impressed. they look totally different to me even though theyre twins.
