Default Long hair = s-curl?

As my hair gets longer, I notice that my hair does this s-curl thing. Before, it had more perfect coffee stirrer sprirals. Is this only happening to me?

I noticed the same thing. My hair isn't very long, but at the ends the curls are tiny spirals while the roots are s curls. I think they change as they grow. It probably happens to lots of curlies too.

The woman that braided my hair was telling me that as your hair gets longer it is going to go through many changes. Due to the weight of the hair as it gets longer, it may change many times.
